the only reason(first draft??)

You're the reason why
my skins so familiar with the breathe of the blade,
the stinging slice of each incision,
the taste of the drooling stitch.
Do you really know who I am anymore?
because I don't.
For, I lost myself, when I lost you…

You're the reason why I'm rested in the dark
and friends with the deceased.
It's my turn to follow them,
but I want you to save me while I'm still here.
Take me with you, show me that light you see.
Hold my hand, and never let it go.
Take me with you, and show me how to numb my pain
with a substance and a pill.

How do you do such things?
you hold yourself together with a liquid as a cast.
they look at me, and see you.
I look at you, and see a soul entrapped in a capsule.
And you're the only reason why;
not me.
and you're the reason why I've so easily let go.

Wow. Thats quite a powerful piece.
Some really strong imagery, it kept me reading and I really did like the structure. Though I also felt it was missing something.

You're the reason why
my skins so familiar with the breathe of the blade,
the stinging slice of each incision,
the taste of the drooling stitch.

I love that bit the most though. Its so amazingly writen.
However, the last line I think could be writen a little differently. Not much and it doesnt need to.
and you're the reason why I've so easily let go.

As I said not so different but I like it that way, haha.
Anyway an amazing piece of poetry.
Well done!
