Walking down the sidewalk
Hearing all the talk in her head
About how she's not pretty
How she's worth nothing
Home is supposed to be were the heart is
But not for her
Why can't she see?
She's the daughter of a king
A soul who is precious in his sight
She wears no crown
But when he comes again
Everyone will see
All that she can be
Walking down a corridor of broken dreams
They call high school
The girls gather again
Giggling and pointing
At the resident geek
Why can't they see?
She's the daughter of a king
A soul who is precious in his sight
She wears no crown
But when he comes again
Everyone will see
All that she can be
When cutting and fitting in get her nowhere
And "Friends" go astray
She turns to her heavenly father
She wants to see what he sees
Now she sees
She's the daughter of a king
A soul who is precious in his sight
She wears no crown
But when he comes again
Everyone will see
All that she can be
She tries and becomes
Someone who loves herself and the lord
They may not see
But now she can
And that's all that she needs
Because
She's the daughter of a king
A soul who is precious in his sight
She wears no crown
But when he comes again
Everyone will see
All that she can be

Thanks! I can't spell to save my life so sorry about that!
I'm not very good at critiques of lyrical writing, because i dont have the beat, tone, anything else with it.
So, the only advice I can really give you is to run your writing through spell check before you do anything with it.
Hope someone else is more helpful!!
