Storyteller

We all have fears
The words we once wrote
Some not so good
Others amazing

Wanting to quit
Is the writer's worst fear
Out of ideas
I need to inspire

With each character
Becoming even more real
The life of a storyteller
Is a life of secrets

Outside of the box
That's were we must think
But sometimes that leads
To heartbreak and displeasure

Continue to try
Because one day you will
Get it right
And become the storyteller

Hello! I really enjoyed this poem. The last stanza was definitely my favorite. In the third stanza I believe there is a typo (I'm assuming you meant "where" not "were"). Overall I liked the rhythm and format of this poem. Even though it didn't rhyme I thought the flow was nice.

Review -
The poem is really good and one that people (especially on this site) can relate to.
I really liked the third stanza best -
"With each character
Becoming even more real
The life of a storyteller
Is a life of secrets"
The second and fourth stanzas are also good, highlighting the fears of a writer. Another thing which i liked is that with the whole poem describing the fears and disappointments of a writer, you ended the poem on an inspirational and encouraging note.
