Christmas Time

Christmas Time
That favorite time of year is here
The one you spend with family dear
Shopping, wrapping, sending, giving
Laughing. Loving, eating, wishing
Christmas cheer is all around
Presents laying on the ground
The tree glistening with lights
Just look at all the amazing sites
This Christmas we hope to spend with you
And we hope it’s great and that all your wishes come true!

Merry Christmas!

=) I like the little piece of work you have, and i have to agree with groink, it would be so much better to personalize it a bit with a tradition, and maybe put a stanza in for somthing else to do with
chrismahanakwanzika.

I love it!!!!!
Congradulations

KdancerE:

A fine little rhyming ditty. Nothing serious, but a decently lighthearted attempt.

I suggest you drop L7 and L8. In L10, drop "that all."

Take care,
Brad

Aww... very sweet! :D

One thing I would like to see is a more personalized approach to this poem. Like, everybody has certain traditions, so maybe if you can tell us one of yours, in poetic form, of course, it could differentiate this poem from the rest of the Christmas poems floating around. Just a thought. ;)

Oh, and welcome to YWS! :D
