short poem

Demeter stole the words right from under my fingertips. An aphorism I think best describes this, not a poem. But hey, that doesn't mean I don't like it!

*Pokes* Keep writing, let's see if you translate this into poem format!

That's very true what Ringo and Eimear said, but that's also true what the poem said! Well, I don't really think this as a poem, either, it's more like an aphorism. I like it much as an aphorism (I love that kind of stuff), but I don't get it as a poem, I'm sorry. So, aphorism – Yes!, poem – Oh, no.

This is very short. How perceptive of me you might say! *Bows

I'm not sure about this piece. I'm personally a sucker for a good, quirky rhyme at the end of something like this to tie two thoughts together to make them whole. This just didn't fit into a hand held thought that I would remember. I guess what I'm trying to say is I think that you could have found something to rhyme with 'future' as juvenile as it sounds, I think I would have liked it better then. Call me immature, it's just my own thoughts.

I don't call this a poem, and by no means am I saying it's not a poem because it is short. Emily Dickinson's "Fame is a Bee" was four lines long, but held a very true and heavy message (the mark of a master poet), but anyway I can't call this a poem because it is too philosophical for me and doesn't call back to the elements of poetry.

I didn't understand the "Jon Wise" thing either, I don't see where it fit in.
