It is often used in reference to micro-electronics, rather than other technologies. The adjective form is hyphenated:high-tech or high-technology. High technology requires complex tools and systems n order to be efficient. For example the windmills that transforms kinetic energy from the wind to make electricity, and solar panels to absorb energy from the sun. To sum it up, high-technology is the most effective and advance form of technology.
The term innovation can be defined as something original that breaks into society. Technology has changed. People learn ways on how to transform and innovate technology. Because we use technology to control our world, they look on how to improve it. People want better products that's why people improve or innovate technology. Inventors look into the details of products and look for ways to improve this product by the means of technology. Innovation can be accomplished through effective products, processes, services and ideas that are readily available to improve our technology.
Overall, it is the knowledge of tools and machines to make tasks efficiently. Technology has changed in the past hundred years. We use technology in order to make our lives easier and better. Technology is very useful in terms of communication, transportation, and entertainment. We should understand how people shape technology and how technology shapes people's interactions with each other and the natural world is very important for us to be able to transform and innovate technology.
