Do you ever talk to the stars?
The glittering sparkly wishes,
I do whenever you seem so far
Missing these late midnight kisses
I miss your warm brown eyes
The sweetness in your smile
The silence in your sighs
Though we haven't talked in a while
The wishes you hold
In your sweet loving heart
Are yet to be told
And I wonder where to start
Whenever you look at me
I find myself holding my breath
It feels like I'm drowning in a sea
And you're all that's left
So I'm beginning to wonder;
Do you ever talk to the stars?

Top Graham Cracker - What I Know
I really enjoyed reading this poem! To me, it feels like a speaker missing someone they haven't talked to in a while. The speaker remembers little things about them, especially their warm brown eyes and sweet smile, which makes their feelings seem even more personal. I also loved how the poem begins and ends with the same question, “Do you ever talk to the stars?” even i love stars and moon so much i always look at moon and make wishes.

Ohhh my goodness! How so? (If I can ask!)
Woah, I actually loved this poem so much. I've always wanted to write poetry, but it's something I've always struggled with in and out of school. You've done such a good job, you piece capture the feeling of love so well, I can't even explain it. Loved reading this, and can't wat for more of your poetry in the future if you continue.
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad that you liked it!
