Someone

All the pain and the sorrow
That I went through when I left you (Oh)
Baby, I couldn't get you off my mind
All the time and all day long
You're the reason why I'm singing this song...

(Chorus)
Love me, hug me
Push and shove me
Never gonna find someone
Like you, like you
Someone, someone...

Make a wish
And make it well
And hope your dreams come true
Is what I say when I see you (oh)
If only I could find someone like you
Who would hold me tight
With all his might
Never, never
Gonna find someone like you...

(Chorus)
Love me, hug me
Push and shove me
Never gonna find someone
Like you, like you
Someone, someone

I think it has just begun
When all my troubles washed away
Today is another day
When I looked into your eyes
And I finally realize that it was all a game
You get to keep your name
The player forever
Put my heart together
And you know something else
That I want you to do...

(Chorus)
Love me, hug me
For the very last time
Push and shove me
To get you off my mind
I hope I never find someone like you
Like you, like you
Someone, someone

Who'd play me for a fool
Someone, someone
That I'd give my heart to
Who'd take me for granted
And show me that I
Never could've made it
Cause someone, someone
Like you...
(oh-oh-yeah)
Like you

I liked this a lot but the chorus was a little difficult for me to follow.

Love me, hug me
Push and shove me
Never gonna find someone
Like you, like you
Someone, someone

I didn't really get how the "Someone, someone" line fit in with the chorus. When I sang it, the beginning was fine, but then when I got to this part it threw me off a bit. Maybe it's different when you sing it but that's the only thing I didn't understand very much.

Though, these lines --

Who'd play me for a fool
Someone, someone
That I'd give my heart to

-- I absolutely ADORE. :]

All in all, they're good lyrics, so good job!

This was good. Not particularly original, pretty much every second song on the charts is like this, but it has potential.

The thing that annoyed me was that I couldn't sing it. You could hear the beginning of a tune at times, but it wasn't strong enough to be able to sing through.

A lot of the time I'd say it was your lines, Some of them are really short, and then you get a really long one, which throws you off. You need to make each line about the same for it to work.

I wouldn't say this is spectacular, just because I've heard it many times before, but I think there's something in here that could be really good.

Good luck!

Morning without you is a dwindled dawn.
