Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll: Part five

by JC

End

I woke up the next morning with my limbs shaking. I was sore. Everywhere.

The memory of yesterday was so vivid in my mind that I don’t

remember how I got home, or what happened when I did so.

My bedroom was empty, and on the second floor of the house. I

had my own bathroom, that much I noticed. I walked down the stairs,

noticing just how empty the house was, even with all the boxes.

“Wow, Callie, I didn’t hear you come in last night,” Jenna

said, “I was so worried.”

“You didn’t bother to check my room?” I asked with full

sarcasm. I was pissed about Rick, and she had introduced me to him.

“Well, I was waiting at the front door most of the night, and

when I got tired I kept an ear down the hall,” She answered.

“Apparently not enough,” I said, then turned to my dad who was

sitting at the table with Jenna, glaring at me over an open

newspaper. “Don’t worry, I was home before curfew.”

“Callie,” he said with authority enough to shut me up.

“I made French toast,” Jenna said with her happy ‘all is forgiven’

tone.

“Cool,” I said, sitting down at the table. There were boxes

around the kitchen which things had been taken out of and scattered

around the counters.

Jenna placed a glass down in front of me and poured orange

juice in it. Half empty.

“So, how was your date?” she asked, once again being more of

a friend than a mother. At the moment I hated her.

Remembering my fathers glare I kept myself in check, “It was

alright,” I said, “he taught me a lot about the city.”

That much was true.

“Cool, what did you guys do?”

Nothing serious, just some major drugs. Oh yeah, and he raped

me.

“Just hung out with some of his friends, then me and him just

hung out.” Those were some words for it.

“Cool, did you have fun?” Jenna was beaming, she though she

had done something incredibly good. Oh, if only she knew just what she

had done.

“Kinda,” I said, “I would have preferred to hang out with you

guys though.”

“Oh, all we did was hang out at the beach, the girls didn’t have

their bathing suits, so we went shopping and then to the park before the

girls crashed.” Jenna smiled at me, “It wasn’t all that special.”

“Better than my time,” I muttered.

“Oh, I’m sorry,” there was a plate of food placed before me. I

wasn’t that hungry, but I ate anyways.

“No, it’s just that I would have loved to spend the day with you

guys is all.”

“Oh, well, maybe today,” my dad suggested.

“Yeah, maybe.”

After breakfast, we all went to IKEA for decorating things. And who should I

run into but…

“Hey Cal,” it was Rick.

“Hi,” I said, moving the items behind my back. Nobody likes to

be caught with their kid sisters rubber sheets, whether or not you happened

to hate the other person.

“So, you want to hang out later today?” he asked.

“No, not really actually I have plans. Family stuff you know,” I

shrugged with my hands still behind my back.

“Come on Callie, you know you want to,” he said with one of his

trademark smiles.

“Actually, I don’t. I don’t ever want to see you again.” I repaid

his smile.

“Yeah you do. You remember how much fun it was,” he took a

step toward me, I took a step back.

“I guess it would be fun to rape somebody, you know, if that

just happens to be your thing.”

He glared at me, I just smiled

“Look, Callie, I’m sorry.”

“Sure,” I turned around, Rick grabbed my shoulder and turned

me back around. The green eyes I’d first noticed caught my eyes again,

drawing my in.

“Callie, let’s try again. Please.”

And I found myself saying, “sure.”

Now we were both wearing the same smile.

Wow. That was just a bit of an about face! ;) I almost got left behind, but that was really good. You just can imagine something like that happening, can't you?

But wait... You're the author lol. You're the one who lets us imagine that. But you pulled it off well. It wasn't conventional, which always make for a good story. But, I haven't got anything to fix, so this is pretty much just a praise buffet of some sort lol.
