Stairs of Fire

Im sorry everything I do is insignificant to you
I just get caught in the moment
Don't know when to just let go
Of something that's already gone
A love that's already faded away
A heart that's already shattered and frayed
Jagged little peices, shards of a broken mirror
Scattered on a white carpet
Around dark puddles of crimson red
Innocence spilled from my wrist
There's bandages tied on my fist
I dont know when to just let go
So I take my anger out the best way that I know how
I hurt myself in so many different ways
And no one knows the reason why I do the things that I do
I don't want to give anyone else a chance
To break me more than I'm already broken
I'm like a china doll that's been dropped on a concrete floor
Broken, shattered into a million jagged little peices
Emptiness consumes me and as I lay alone at night
I listen to the rain drops fall on my window
Pitter-patter, there goes another tear
But don't think I'm crying for you these tears that fall
From my brown eyes are for no one
They just seem to escape every now and then
More so here recently now that I've lost myself
No recollection of who I was when I was young
The happiness that I once felt disappeared into the night
The shadows that dance on my wall give me a feeling of releif
Knowing that I'm not alone at night
But they still scare me like you do
They still haunt me like you do
Your memory it tortures me
And as I drift into my deep and dream filled slumber
I see you at the top of the staircase
These stairs of fire that I can't climb
But I still wish I could just reach you
How is it that you're so damn close and yet so far away
I don't want to lose you too I've lost everyone else
Everyone that I thought cared about me in the slightest way
Is gone and never coming back to say
That everything in the end will turn out okay
But they can't comprehend my pain
There's something that burns inside my soul
The empty depths that once were filled
With hope and light and happiness
And the joy I lost so very long ago
There's still no hope for me not now that you know
My true identity my secret that I kept so long
The me I try to hide from the world so they don't know something's wrong
Every night my pain intensifies
It grows so much stronger
It's almost just unbearable, I'm ready to break down
I'm ready to end my misery I'm ready to say goodbye
But I wont give up not just yet
When there's still you I have to live for
You're still the reason I'm standing here today
The reason that I'm breathing
Otherwise there'd be no me
I would no longer exist
But though you may not know it yet
You've saved my life again
I'm still a broken hearted mess
An angel with no halo
I've fallen from the grace of God and I fear that's where I'm staying

First of all where are the punctuations?Every line in this poetry looks to be a run on line...cuz there are no puntuations at the end of any line.

Second of all try breaking this long poem into stanzas it makes the reader feel like reading it.I could only see few lines rhyming.

Third of all you can try bringing some rythm and rhyming into this poem....cuz it lacks both.

But the subject on what the poem is good, the ending was nice, full of emotions...but is there something more to it...cuz you didn't even put a fullstop at the end.

Keep writing and posting!
You have great capabilities.

What orators lack in depth they make up for in length.
