"Please, Please, don't touch me..."
He didn't listen, but continued taking off my clothing, crashing his lips againist mine, not letting go of my hands.
I kicked him.
He frowned, then got off me, and began to punch me so hard and so long that I passed out.
****
This had been going on since I was ten. I was powerless to stop him; Powerless to open my mouth and tell someone.
My escape from this horrible secret started with a locked door and tears, and ended with locked doors and razors.
This led to dark clothing, which led to being called names.
Hello, my name is Elizabeth Jones. I'm thirteen years old and I have a secret.
My secret isn't who I like. (no one.) I wish it was.
One person currently knows my secret. My ex best friend, Ali. Now she calls me fat and emo in the halls.
Her words hurt me, harder than my razors could cut.
So I stuck my fingers down my throat and watched in satisfaction as my ribs became more and more visible, until I collapsed one day in class.
They rushed me to a hospital, where doctors and nurses pounded question after question into me.
it became too much.
I locked the door, clogged the sink, and waited for the water to fill up.
I looked into the mirror. I saw a fat, ugly girl with bland blue eyes and ugly brown hair.
I saw a hideous creature.
I saw an annoying girl.
I missed all my good qualities.
those will come later in my story.
I stuck my head in the sink.
I wonder what its like, being dead. Will the other three Beatles be there? Is there really a heaven?
I thought. Lightheadedness possed me, so I didn't realize it when an old woman opened the door, screamed, and pulled my head out of the water.
They put me in rehab.
I hated it; I still hate it with all my heart.
They're making me worse I decided one day, at group therapy.
Then another prisoner arrived. He had short, blond hair and drawn-back, scared brown eyes.
He's a cutter. i decided. That was my label for him.
I looked around the circle.
Jamie, a dancer, had starved herself, like me, until she collapsed one day.]
Kim, who had short, dark hair and green eyes. She joked about how her strait jacket brought out the color in her eyes.
Jared was another cutter. So were three other people in the room.
I knew, when I saw the new cutter, that he had a reason for it.
I also noticed his file was in a red case, like Kim's and mine.
Red. He's an extreme case. Like mine.
"Would you like to introduce yourself?" The warden, our evil therapist , asked him.
"I'm Dave. I'm not saying why I'm here, or anything else about my life besides this:Stay away from me. I don't belong here."
I smiled. I had said something similiar myself.
They'll break you. I thought. They had broken me, and now, I was a zombie. Get up, move over, give a fake heartfelt confession, sleep. The end.
He sat next to me.
I pretended to pay attenion to everything everyone said.
"Elizabeth? Is there anything you want to say?"
"Umm....can we have icecream now?"
He smiled.
"We don''t have any icecream.
Shit. I really wanted icecream.
"Class dismissed."
I nearly ran to the cafeteria. I wanted icecream. It was the first time I've wanted food since Ali started her taunting.
He was already there, holding a chocolate and vanilla in his hands.
"I thought..You seem like a vanilla person."
"Thanks. You a cutter?" I got straight to the point.
"Yeah..."
"Why?"
"I'm not telling you, unless you tell me."
"Fine. You first."
"My dad...he'd rape my little sister and beat me."
I looked at his eyes. They weren't watery at all. He wasn't a crier.
"Your turn."
I looked around.
"Not here."
I took my hand, and pulled me with him.
I could see the scars on his wrists.
He led me through white halls and through nurses in scrubs to his room.
"Sit."
"No" I said. The bed looked like his.
"Fine. What happened to you?"
"Him."
"Your boyfriend?" he asked.
"The guy who raped me."
I siffled, then burst out crying.
"Shhh...Its okay...Its okay.."
i leaned against the wall.
He sat next to me, and I leanded my head onto his shoulder.
i got a call the next day. Sydeny, a good friend of mine, admitted being raped by the same guy. They called the cops and he's in jail now. She's going into rehab too, and will soon be here.
Over time, David made me realize everything great about myself.
We began to have battles in the cafeteria about who got the last bucket of fries.
We had battles with sporks in the halls.
We helped each other; and, over time, we fell in love with each other.
And now my story ends.
My name is Elizabeth Jones. I'm fourteen years old, and I have a secret.
Someone loves me.

A/N:
I currently in rehab for everything Elizabeth went through. I was too afraid to tell anyone why I tried to drown myself, so I used this story of my escape. Still, edit REALLY hard.
(David does exsist, and he actually did buy me a vanilla icecream.
)
Sorry about the lack of imagery. the story takes place in a hospital and hospitals are really boring to describe. Besides, the story is emotionally based on.

David sounds like a complete sweetheart!
Shifting: The transition of ideas here, although a bit skeletal, is complete. You go from nobody loves you, to being too jaded for love, and finally finding somebody who loves you.
The skeletal part is what's really lacking in this story. You wouldn't need to dig deeper to make it more fleshed-out (I hope not, anyways. Feel free to disregard any advice that makes this too personal), is a few more mentions of love. Like how each step towards depression made you feel more cut-off from love, and how this guy seemed to just open it up. Things like that. Just adding in a hint of love, or lack there of, to make this more powerful.
One tinny nit-pick:
I'd replace "harder" with "deeper" since that seems to fit with the razor thing a bit more. (If that's not the case, I apologize)
Good qualities: You mention them, but never say them. It's alright to put some self-praise in here. It would make the shifting more complete (going from missing good qualities to having them again).
Overall: Even with the rather skeletal nature of this, it's pretty good. I'd flesh out the emotions a bit more, if possible, but the raw structure is there.
