Demon of Many Names (rated for drug use)

A friend told me that I should try writing something dark and sad. So, I wrote this about an addict. It's a different taste than what I am used to, but I hope you enjoy. :smt003

I've lost everything to me,
It's the only friend that I have left.
But it is because of me,
That I may soon face my death.

But I rave for that crave,
For it's most deadly wave.
I hate that sting, that burn,
They are the things I yearn,
But it will never stop,
Untill it's made me drop.

It is a demon of many names,
It can be a drink, a smoke, or other things.
I'm it's most vulnerable host.
I leave it and it will haunt me like ghost.

But I rave for that crave,
For it's most deadly wave.
I hate that sting, that burn,
They are the things I yearn,
But it will never stop,
Untill it made me drop.

Now if want leave my dear friend,
But I think it's too much near the end.
I feel some peace, I think it has stopped,
Since it was made me drop.

It is a demon of many names,
It can be a drink, a smoke, or other things.
I'm was it's most vulnerable host.
I couldn't leave it and now I am ghost.

But I raved for that crave,
For it's most deadly wave.
I hated that sting, that burn,
They were the things I yearn,
But I couldn't make it stop,
Untill it made me drop.

I like the repeating pattern and the good rhymes.

Good job! I really enjoyed this. I just caught one error . . .

I'm was it's most vulnerable host.

I couldn't leave it and now I am ghost.

I'm was? x[} I think you meant, "I was."

Anyway. Fantastic job! Keep writing, and if you ever need a review, either PM me or go to my tropical shack by clicking 'Reviews' at the bottom of my signature.

Mkay. Well. Bye. :[}

Love & Blessings,
Aushy
