~Chapter one ~ Broken Curses
On a lonely winter evening, rain poured and hammered upon metallic roofs in a small trading city due to the west of the Razor Sky Mountains. Dirt streets turned to mud and side walks were covered in gunk that fell from the rusted roofs of the city. Homeless people and beggars sat out on corners of the brick buildings, and the residents of the city sat warmly in their homes as the rains quiet pouring fell onto their roofs. A stranger, who had never been seen once in the city, walked solemnly through the gates of the south entrance, just south of the Razor Sky Mountains. The man wore a heavily damped wool cloak and had a huge hump on his left shoulder, almost like something wanted to get out but could not. The cloaked man walked slowly through the muddy streets, beggars and homeless families calling out to him for any chance of food or coin he could offer; but he ignored all their pleads to their salvation. Walking close to a wall, the man leaned on it for only a second before returning to the road and walking in front of a small Inn that was placed near the southern exit of the Trading city. As soon as he began to approach the door, a gigantic blast of wind howled through the city and rattled a few windows as it passed through the encased walls of the over populated city.
The man turned the large handle and pushed the heavy oak door wide enough for him to slip through and to shut the door quickly. The first thing he got was an odd stare from the bar maid of the little Inn, but that was all he got; for he was the only customer in the Inn so far. He walked up to the bar maid and requested several pints of ale and placed a few coins on the bar table, to indicate that he was willing to pay instead of swindle his way out of paying. The whole time he was ordering, he kept his head down so the bar maid didn’t see his face, for the man was a wanted man of four hundred billion gold coins on his head; wanted dead or alive. He was wanted four murdering five cities and three villages, but hopefully she didn’t know that. After gathering his pints of le, the cloaked man walked over to a red leather chair that sat next to a fire, and placed the plate that held the ale on top of a beautiful auburn colored table that sat on top of a stitched rug that had the design of an old oak tree as its design. As the man settled to relax, he removed his cloak and then a buckled belt that was strapped around left shoulder that held a giant jaded blade. He placed the sword on the left shoulder of the chair and hung his cloak near the fire place to cry it off with the licking warmth of the flames. The man sat down and pulled out a brass instrument known as a tin whistle and began to play a soft melody that swam its way around the hollow walls of the Inn. As he let his melody drift through the Inn, he hadn’t notice that the door had opened again to reveal that a mysterious woman covered in a thin leather cloak had walked in ordered a pint of whiskey and sat down across from the questionable man who sat quietly playing his tin whistle. The door opened once more to reveal another cloaked figure walked slowly through the door, this person was small and had barely any hair on his head; for he was a gnome, a mechanic to be exact, and he was covered in snow, from head to toe. As he wobbled his way to the stool at the bar, he gave a shifty eyed look at the man sitting at the fire. The gnome grumbled and grunted as he struggled to get his tiny rear onto the large stool. After accomplishing his task of getting on the stool, he ordered a shot of rum from the bar maid and stared quietly at the man playing the soft tunes on his instrument.
“Who’s the shrub?” The gnome asked in a surprisingly deep voice, as he pointed at the man by the fire.
“Don’t know, he sort of walked in like he knew the place and ordered some ale, placed his things by the fire and sat down.” The bar maid replied as she poured a shot for the old mechanic.
“Hmm, well did you get his name at all, Merra?” The gnome questioned her with a glare in his eye as he stared at her to the point where she shivered with an uncomfortable feeling.
“No sir, I only served him his ale and watched him sit down next to the fire, he did have a raspy voice though, almost horse like; like he hadn’t eaten or drank in days.” The bar maid replied once again after handing the gnome his drink and walking to the back of the Inn to the kitchen. “Have you seen my boy today? He was supposed to come home and do his chores before going out side!” The bar maid shouted from the back of the kitchen.
“No, was I supposed to keep an eye out for him again? You know that’s kind of difficult seeing as I’m only three foot two inches tall!” The Gnome shouted a reply back to Merra after he took a second sip of his whiskey. After he took his third sip, he shouted for more and stared at the man who peacefully played his Tin whistle near the fire. The cloaked woman sat enigmas to the music that the man played, and drank her ale slowly to think about some thing that puzzled the gnome; as he stared at both of the strangers that sat in the peaceful Inn, he began to grow suspicious about the strangers who had never been noticed neither were they stopped at the gates.
The man played the last note to his tune and waited for him to finish and take a break from the melodies that he knew from the travels he had been through. The door opened up once more and several workers from a factory walked in tired and cold, wanted to calm their souls with a bit of ale. Followed behind the group of people was another woman cloaked in a greasy brown cloak, it was dirty and frail from the looks of use from over the years she lived in the dirty city. Surprisingly, she was very dry, almost like she had placed a spell on herself to prevent the rain to fall onto her body. She was very tall and slender for her age, and she had a face the age of a teenager, but in these times Inns were considered a place of rejuvenation. The little man watched as the woman passed him and sat in a chair that was on the man’s left hand side, and began to whisper something in his ear. The man replied with a grunt and a loud laugh that filled the Inn with uneasiness. The Gnome slid off his chair and walked over to the mysterious man, and stared at his face with wonder; but to the gnomes surprise he couldn’t see the man's face because it was covered in a cloth to cover his facial features. The gnome growled in his throat and shouted in his own tongue, and then told the Bar maid to lock the doors, for they had the four billion gold coined criminal in their hands. The gnome called for the workers to come and give him a hand to try and tie up the criminal. The workers stood up from their spots and walked over to the fire place where the man was sitting.
“So you think you could escape the bounty on your head eh? Well you were wrong when you came to this city mister Kaige Dur’ Ilavar!” The gnome shouted in Kaige’s ear as he snapped his fingers and told the workers to apprehend the criminal that sat in their mitts. Kaige slowly stood up and turn around to the gnome and pulled down his face mask, showing him several scars that he bared on his face. Then Kaige began to speak slowly in the gnomish tongue so that the gnome mechanic could understand what he was attempting to say. All the gnome could make out was “So you think you have caught me in your grasp huh? Well you can try and catch me if you can little man.” This enraged the gnome, for he mocked him in his own tongue.
“Now who ever thinks they can catch me first, you shall all be warned that I am the Devils Rain, Kaige Dur’ Ilavar!” Kaige shouted as he drew his jaded blade and waited for the workers to make their move, which they did instantly as they heard him shout out his own name. They came at him like a pack on hungered wolves; they smashed tables along the way and used their tools as weapons. Kaige watched playfully as they attempted to catch him and take him in for the big reward. As one came after another, Kaige danced around them and threw them to the ground, knocking them unconscious instantly; and after he had finished with them he swung his sword down at the gnome and stopped it at the gnome’s throat. The gnome shivered in fear and stared up at the smiling, gleeful face. Kaige lowered his weapon and walked towards the gnome, placing his lips near the gnomes ear, he slowly explained what he was trying to do and what he has done to disserve the title Devils Rain.
“My story is small, but it gets to the point… I have a curse that is known as the Daemon’s rage and I have no control over it.” Kaige began. “I didn’t mean to kill any one in the first place, they cities and villages were the wrong place at the wrong time, every time a Blood moon comes out I loose control of my self and I change into the Daemon that has trapped itself into my soul.” Kaige told slowly so the gnome could understand every word of what he was telling him. “And every time I change into the beast I cause a chain reaction and blow up the City or village off the world and leave it in ruins, and bodies are spread across the land with burnt skin and their souls have been stolen by me, the monstrous Devils Rain, I am really a nice man at heart and I mean no one any harm, but I can’t control thee beast inside of me… So what ever happens it isn’t my fault, it’s the monsters fault.” Kaige was about to finish when a bottle of ale slapped him on the head and knocked him unconscious. The two women who were sitting with him stood up and drew their weapons, but a hand waived out to them and saw that Kaige’s brother stood over him with an ale bottle in his left hand.
“No need for those ladies, my little brother has any time for your assistance; and I don’t feel like massacring any one at the moment.” Albastier said low enough for every one to hear what little he had to say. “I am Albastier the Crucified valor, a Kioto Knight of the northern kingdom of Allura; and all I am here for is my brother and the two women who had been traveling with them for the past two years.” Albastier said as he picked up his unconscious brother and waved a finger to the girls to tell them to follow him. As he walked out the Inn door, the girls gathered Kaige’s things and followed quickly behind Albastier who was already half way down the block of the city. Kaige awoke from the feeling of his body moving up and down as he was carried upon his brother’s shoulder. “What the hell were you thinking Kaige? You know that you can’t go to major cities like this or else some one will be crazy enough to try and catch you to turn you in.”
Albastier scolded his brother as he kept an eye straight toward the northern gate of the city. Kaige stared at the side walk as he was carried on his brother’s shoulder; it was embarrassing to see that his brother took him down with only an ale bottle in his hand. Kaige tried to wiggle out of his brothers grasp and begin to walk, but Albastier stopped him and whispered to him to act unconscious again for the guards as they quickly approached toe northern gate of the city.
“Halt sir knight, where are you taking this fugitive?” The captain of the guard asked as they approached to gates.
“I was going to take him back to the kingdom of Allura, to have him be put to death by our king.” Albastier replied as he dumped Kaige on the side walk like a sack of potatoes. Kaige hit the ground with a thud and a loud groan of pain came from his lips as he tried to catch his breath. The guards stared at the body and turned their attention to Albastier, who was filled with fear as the guards figured out that Kaige wasn’t unconscious any more. The guards drew their swords and advanced toward the knight, who had drawn his great sword and began to fend off the guard. With a single block, Albastier grunted two words that Kaige actually listened to for once.
“Run now!” Albastier grunted as he threw off his opposing enemies. Kaige stood up and requested for his affections, and began to run toward the gate, but stopped when he realized that it was locked. He called both women over to him and told him that he had to use a little of his power to make them go through the gate. As they approached him, Kaige concentrated on his daemonic power and was able to turn him and the women incomplete for a few seconds as he walked them through the physical gate and they ran after they were through. Kaige began to cough blood as he held his chest in pain from the power that he used wasn’t good, he hated using his Daemonic powers, but when the time called for it he had to use it. After they were in a forest that were on the outskirts of the town, Kaige sat down underneath a tree that wallowed in the center of a lake that expanded over the years of the rain that filled it. Kaige sat with a scared expression on his face, which concerned both of the women that had been traveling with him for some time. One of the women finally lowered her hood and crawled over to Kaige who was staring at the ground between his legs. She had silver hair and purple eyes, she was an outcast just like Kaige because she was able to control the elements with her mind and put them to her use in her hands. Her name was Katrina, she had been with
Kaige for almost a year and she had not once told him how she felt about him. The other woman was Albastien’s wife, she had been accompanying Kaige ever since he left the kingdom, she had been asked to keep an eye on him from her husband. She was a half elf with blond hair and blue eyes, her name was Aluna and she had been a spy for the kingdom for almost twelve years. Katrina crawled her way to the man she had fallen for all those years ago when they were just children and she attempted to comfort him under his time of need.
“Why does every one treat me like I am a monster, its HIM who’s the beast, I didn’t want to be known as the Devils Rain… Why can’t I live a normal life?” Kaige stood up and ran to the edge of the lake and shouted into the sky. Katrina under stood his pain, she was the same way as him, she didn’t want this curse that she bared, but she had to deal because she was still happy with one thing, she was alive and that was all that she was happy about. She looked at Kaige once more and began to cry as she saw him punching the ground like a three year old throwing a fit. “Damn you Anarchy! Damn you to the pits of hell!” Kaige shouted into the water as he began to cry. An evil reflection lay in the water and a loud chuckle came from the mouth of the reflection. Anarchy stared at Kaige as though he had been through torment, which he was because he was mistaken as a criminal and not a human being at all. Kaige’s red eyes stared heatedly at Anarchy as he laughed at Kaige’s anger repulsion. Kaige waved his right hand backwards at his sword and pulled it toward him with his daemonic powers. As soon as the handle touched his fingers he grasped it tight and began to stab the water hoping to kill the Daemon inside of him. “Get out of my life Anarchy! I never wanted to be like you or be you in general! Get out of me and face me like a man!” Kaige shouted as he flipped the blade towards his chest and shoved the point into his rib cage, running the blade through his upper body. Katrina screamed in terror as she saw the man she loved stab himself with his own weapon due to madness from the creature that lived in side of him. A large green and black light forced its way out of Kaige’s wound and a tiny orb swallowed Kaige into its belly of chaos. The orb exploded into nothingness and Kaige was gone. Katrina jumped to her feet, ran and slid to the spot where Kaige had been kneeling before he was swallowed by the chaos. She screamed and cried in pain as she lost her love forever to the night mares of darkness. As she began to hammer the back of her hand onto the ground where Kaige sat, a sound of lightning began to echo from behind her about a few yards away and another explosion went off as Anarchy stepped out of a flaming portal to hell.
“Hmhmhmmm, Kaige told me to send his regards to you from the under world, and he hopes that you will forget him seeing as he is dead, oh and I believe that this necklace is his.” Anarchy said as he held up a sapphire stone necklace above his head, there was a symbol engraved in it, the symbol meant FOREVER, meaning ever lasting life.
“You bastard! Give him back to me!” Katrina said as she ran toward him with weapons in hand, but she was stopped and held back when Aluna grabbed her and held her to warn her of a new portal opening. Another sound of electricity went through the forest and a second portal of fire opened to reveal Kaige walking out as a spirit.
“Hey Anarchy, how do I look now? Am I dead enough for ya or do you want to finish me off?” Kaige said as he put his arms into the air and opened himself for Anarchy to strike at him. Anarchy smirked and laughed evilly as he charged forward to strike at Kaige, but as he thought that he would hit a physical being, he just fell straight through Kaige and hit a root of the Grandfather tree that sat in the middle of the lake.
“What!? How come I can’t touch you?” Anarchy spat and shouts as he rose to his feet.
“The reason why you can’t touch me is because you already are, that necklace is known as my Forever charm, and it allows me to keep a physical form whenever I am in the living world. You see I am known as the Devils Rain for a reason, and I just realized it after I had sacrificed myself to unlock you.” Kaige said as he walked toward Anarchy, who just stared dumbfounded at Kaige. “I am Devils rain, the holy order known as Vanquisher of evil… and you my friend are going back with me to finish this once and for all.” Kaige said as he drew his blade and swiftly struck Anarchy in the stomach with the blade. In doing so, anarchy waved his hands in the air and let go of the Forever charm. The forever charm fell to Katrina’s feet and she instantly picked it up when she realized that it was there.
“Katrina, my darling take care of my body and the stone okay, I will see you in a few hundred years or maybe sooner if I can ever finish… THIS!” Kaige said as he spun the blade around, with Anarchy still attached to it and flung him into the portal of which Kaige had come from.
“Kaige! Wait!” Katrina shouted as the portal rumbled and it sunk back into the ground like a reversal flower.
“Don’t worry about him dear, he will be back… I hope.” Aluna said with a sweet smile and sincere look on her face as she turned to look at Katrina.

Fire swirled and hissed as Lava pits of the under world combusted into raging infernos. There were a few rocks of solid lava that had hardened over millenniums of cooling, and a rickety bridge hung several thousand feet in the air above Kaige who stared at Anarchy, who still held his belly in pain.
“Oh what’s the matter Anarchy did I hurt the little baby Daemon?” Kaige mocked at Anarchy as he began to feel his physical form come back to him and he felt the heat of the under world begin to seep through his boots. “Well I hope it did, because you caused all those people who you hung up on the wall around this place, You made them suffer and I will end their suffering and bring them back to their right place in the world!” Kaige shouted as he charged Anarchy with his blade held up high. Anarchy forgot about the pain and got into a combative stance to fend off Kaige. Kaige danced and swung at Anarchy, until Anarchy began to fight back with his own sword made of human flesh and bones of the souls that he had trapped in the under world. Kaige swung and fought as well as he could, but he knew he wasn’t ready for this battle. Anarchy swung and swung with endless energy, and wouldn’t stop until Kaige was dead, but Kaige wouldn’t allow it. At the right moment, Kaige blocked an attack from Anarchy and rolled underneath his legs and rose behind him. Raising his blade, Kaige slashed his sword across Anarchy’s wings and back, slicing several arteries and bones. Leaving a celestial cross on his back, Kaige shouted an attack name for his move.
“Crucial Cannon!” He shouted as Anarchy’s back lit up with a soft blue light and shot him forward into the lava. “May you live in peace and maybe your soul burn in the pits of hell.” Were the last things he said to anarchy before opening a portal to the realm of humans and watched as the souls of the thousands of people fly out into the world and go back to their rightful places. The last to walk out was Kaige, but before he could a boney hand grasped its self around Kaige’s ankle and pulled him to his stomach. Anarchy dragged him with his last strength to the pool of lava, and used every last bit of muscle he had left to do it. Kaige’s last resort was for him to either slice anarchy’s hand off or to stab the rock and use crucial cannon on the rock to make the lava flow into waves. He tried his first option, but as he tried it, it didn’t work, so he used his second plan. Taking his blade, Kaige charged up his energy into his sword and stabbed it into the ground. He let go of the energy and let the lava form into gigantic waves. Anarchy let out a cry of pain as the lava burned the last of his muscles and made him fall back into the ocean of fire. As Kaige flew towards the portal, lava fell onto his right arm, burning it instantly to the bone. As he fell back to the realm of light, he landed with a soft thud on the bank of the lake. And Katrina ran to his aid as soon as she saw him. She quickly placed his necklace around his neck and watched as his body filled with every last bit of bodily fluid and muscle, except his right arm, which was only a bit of flesh and some muscle. Kaige hollered in pain as he came back to his world and felt the pain of his arm torn by Underworld lava. Aluna Approached with Albastier at her side and watched as Albastier ran to his brother’s aid. Albastier began to cry from the loss of his brother’s arm, for what would he have told his father when they came walking through the kingdom gates. (“Yeah dad he had a big fight against Anarchy the spirit that embedded itself into my younger brother and as a payment, he lost his right arm.”) He shook his head at the thought of telling his father that, and told himself to go back to the city that they had recently left. “The gnome mechanic…” Was all he said when he stood up and looked in the direction of the city.
“We have to take him to the Gnome mechanic, he’s the only one who can design us a replacement arm for him.” Albastier told them as he began to pick up Kaige, who just shouted more from the agony that he was receiving. “Don’t look at me like that I know it’s risky, but we need to take my brother there or I’ll have to amputate his arm, which I don’t want to do at all!” Albastier said as he began to run towards the northern gate of the City known as Wioro Valley.
As they got near the gate, the guards attempted to stop them, but Albastier waved his hand and the gate combusted into a giant explosion, making a gapping hole wide enough for them to pass though. The women quickly followed behind and watched as Albastier ran to the Mechanics shop. Albastier moved to the front door and expected it to be an easy open door, but it was locked, so he made his own entrance. Kicking the door down, Albastier ran inside and looked around for the Gnome mechanic, who was staring at them like they were monsters of the night. As the gnome caught a glimpse of Kaige with his boney arm, he screamed in fear and worry and hurried to the back room to fetch a decent sized table. Running back into the main room, the gnome mechanic slammed it onto the stone covered floor and ordered Albastier to place him on the table.
“Alright here’s what were going to do, you will have to slice off his arm that doesn’t have to bone and muscle and I’ll have to design the arm myself, which we’ll talk about the cost later… And you Aluna, go get the bar maid and the doctor.” The gnome ordered with several beads of sweat running down his forehead.
“Okay I understand what the doctors for, but what’s the bar maid for?” Katrina asked as Aluna began to drag her with.
“The bar maid is so she could bring some strong alcohol for the wound and so she could bring me some whiskey.!” The gnome shouted as he shooed them out of the shop and tried to pick up the door, but found that he was too old and felt to leave it be at the moment. Rushing to his table the Gnome began to draw a blue print out of the arm design and started with the hand, after that the fore arm and part of the upper arm.
“Now I know this is gonna hurt you my lad, but you need to cut your brothers arm off or else I’ll never be able to get this on him.” The gnome pointed toward the robotic arm that he was making for the boy who was beginning to go delirious. “And you might want to do it quick or else he’s going to stay like that for the rest of his little life.” The gnome gestured to make him hurry the process.
Being painful as it would be, Albastier drew his sword and placed it an inch above Kaige’s upper arm that had no skin and sliced down, causing Kaige to wake up with a sharp pain through his body. Kaige began to scream and cry at the same time as he felt the steel thrash through his bones and slice his arm clean off. The doctor, bar maid, Katrina, and Aluna all came as quickly as they could when they heard Kaige scream.
Blood poured every where on the floor and Kaige screamed in agony as he heard his arm fall to the floor with a small clatter. The doctor ran over to him and pulled out some adrenalin in a vile and stabbed him in the leg to make him stay awake for him. The adrenalin kicked in faster than any one could blink, for Kaige screamed louder as he now felt pain in his leg. The doctor pulled out a thread and a needle and began to patch up the wound after it had finished bleeding out. After the wound was finished, the gnome mechanic ran up with the arm and placed it on the dry part of the table. After he had placed the arm on the table, he ripped some of the seems in Kaige’s stitching and felt around his arm for the nerve connector in his arm, after he found it, he attached two wires to it and connected them to the arm. After the arm was online, the gnome mechanic strapped the arm with a couple of leather straps and buckles that connected them together, and buckled it to sit comfortably to his body so that it wouldn’t rip the nerve cords from the socket of his arm. After the adrenalin ran down Kaige soon fell asleep and went on sleeping for several days.
ФФФФФФФФФФ ФФФФФФФФФФ
Kaige awoke with a door opening and shutting. He slowly opened his eyes to see Katrina and his brother sitting across from him, Katrina was asleep in a chair while Albastier stared outside the open window that was in the medical room. Kaige looked around for a few seconds and laid his head back down to ease the headache that he had. He slowly lifted his right arm to his head to rub the temples that were in pain, but instead of feeling flesh on flesh he felt metal upon flesh. This made him shouted out in shock, which awoke Katrina and made Albastier turn to his general direction.
“What the hell happened to me! Where’s my real arm!” Kaige shouted in complete shock as he stared at the soft metallic silver that was now the shape of his old arm. With his shock he began to get up, but was stopped when a grumbling voice told him to sit down and take a breather.
“Now young man, you know that arm was specially crafted for you and only you… I don’t think I’ll ever be able to design an arm like that ever again so you will treat it with respect or I could just rip it right off you right now.” The gnome sneered as he smoked his pipe in the medical room. Taking another hit of his pipe, the gnome smiled his crooked teeth toward Kaige and Kaige smile and laughed back.
“All I remember was I fought Anarchy and he made me use a skill which I don’t feel like mentioning right now, and when I was flying through the portal some of the lava Burned my arm… OFF!” Kaige Shouted again as he looked at his arm in shock, and smiled as he realized that his new arm was more sufficient than his old one. “Wait, aren’t you that little man that I told my secret to?” Kaige questioned when he realized that it was a gnome that was talking to him. Kaige stood up and stretched his body, but realized that he wasn’t wearing anything but a blanket and a few bandages; so he instantly sat down embarrassed. Albastier turned to Katrina, who was blushing as well and shooed her out of the room to let Kaige get dressed.
“I realized that Anarchy is not longer part of your soul, because you are acting less angry and your eye color has changed as well.” Albastier said after closing the door and sitting down in the seat that Katrina was sitting in.
“Well I do feel a little healthier than before, maybe it was because of all the souls’ anarchy stole that poisoned me.” Kaige said as he began to throw on his pants and boots. After throwing on his shirt, he realized that the sleeves felt awkward on his shoulders, so he took a pair of scissors and cut off the sleeves to make a wide opening for his metal arm to get in and out of easily.
Throwing off the covers and walking over to the medical room window, Kaige stared out into the court yard of the hospital and sighed with a heavy relief. Kaige had never felt so good in his life, and all he could think about was that he was finally finished with the title Devils Rain. Turning to his brother Kaige, smiled and began to walk out of the room; but before he could, the gnome stopped him and gave him a little look of uneasiness.
“I believe master Kaige, you still have a debt to pay off for the arm… so I am making a request that you and your party take me along with this adventure that you are taking with your family and friend.” The gnome said as he put out his hand for an agreement. Kaige took it with his approval and shook it vigorously until the gnome thought that his own hand was going to fall off. Kaige along with the gnome and his brother walked through the door to meet up with the girls, and gather their things at the front desk.
“Hello master Kaige, here are your things, we were suspecting that you were leaving at such short notice.” The nurse said as she handed his things to him, and gave him a sweet smile.
“Thank you Catharine, I hope to see you some time in the future, and I promise to repay this hospitals hard work to keep me alive.” Kaige said as he handed her fourteen hundred coins and smiled back. After he put his things on, every one followed Kaige out the front door and Albastier went up to him to question some thing interesting.
“How did you know that nurses name Kaige?” Albastier said puzzled.
“I don’t know, it sort of popped p into my head, or she had a name tag... like I said I’m not sure.” Kaige said as they went past the southern street toward the northern gate.
“Halt sir knight, where are you going this time? If you do not stop we shall be forced to use... Force!” The guard began to say before being flung back by an invisible force which surprised every one, including Kaige.
“Well I guess that answers our problem, who needs to pay a toll when we can just go through... our... selves... Damn it, the gates locked. “Kaige began to say when he walked into the metallic iron gates that blocked his path of getting through. He concentrated on imagining that the gate would open in his mind, and to his surprise, the gate surely did open to his will. “Holy shit! I have telekinetic powers! How the hell did this happen? I wonder what else I can do.” Kaige slowly said as he stared at his hand and smirked evilly like a child who had a ball in a game of dodge ball. He raised his hand into the air and told every one to get twenty feet away from his just in case of an accident. Concentrating his power into his metallic arm, Kaige felt a burning sensation in his head and he released it with two words.
“Celestial Cannon!” He shouted as he spun his fist in the air and smashed it into the ground between the gates. The gates gave a shivered and then a crack began to form from the bottom of the western wall. The eastern wall followed with a large crack in it and they both tumbled from the power that had cracked them. Kaige quickly moved out of the way and laughed as he watched the wall fall from his power. He stared down at his hand with amazement as he knew that his power was greater than any ones in the world. Kaige got to his feet and began to run towards the others to catch up to them, but as soon as he approached them, he laughed for they had all fallen down on their rears and stared up at him with amazement.
“What are you doing sitting down? We have to make it to Allura by tomorrow or we’ll never be able to confront my father with the good news.” Kaige said as he began to run down the road and run ahead of them. They all rose to their feet and began to run after Kaige like a game of tag, but after a while they caught up and they were half way down the road when night fall began to cover the world in its darkness.
So the party set up camp off to the side of the road, to make it an easy trip to the road when they break down camp. The night was perfect, every one was in a good mood and they ate heartily and drank whine that the gnome had packed with him for the travel to the kingdom. Kaige played his tin whistle while the women danced around the fire, and Albastier played his drum and the gnome played a bag pipe that he had made himself. After several hours of partying, the party went to their separate tents, drunk and happy. Kaige and Katrina slept in one tent, the gnome in his own and Albastier and his wife.
ФФФФФФФФФФ ФФФФФФФФФФ
The next morning was a beautiful day; the birds sang their harmonizing tunes which Kaige played his tin whistle along with. Katrina and the gnome came out from their tents and sat around the still going fire, Katrina sat next to Kaige and the gnome sat in his own seat that he had also made himself. Albastier woke up two hours later and walked into the forest to use the restroom. After he was done with his business, he began to return when a voice began to echo its self through out the forest.
“Albastier come to the sacred bed of masters...” Was all the voice said as it began to lead him further into the forest. For hours he traveled until he made it into a field of rocks and grass. A gigantic pillar stood in front of him, and a throne sat before him. A skeleton wearing a crown and bearing a sword sat in the throne. The skeleton had vines and leaves covering it like a scented blanket of the forest. Leaves covered a walk way that led to steps that covered the throne of the sacred grove. Albastier stared at the Bag of bones that sat on the throne, which he subconsciously began to walk towards the steps that lead to the stone throne.
As he approached, he stepped on a trap trigger that activated spikes that shot from the pillars and the floor; so Albastier had reacted quickly to make sure that he wasn’t known as the Swiss knight of Allura. After making it through the trap, he landed on top of the lowest step and stared transfixed on the bones of the dead king. Walking up the steps a loud hissing noise began to fill the air with its presence as a green fume filled itself into the dead king’s bones. As Albastier began to approach the skeleton king moved and rose from his seat. Flesh began to mold onto the old bones and green fumes poured out of the kings mouth.
Albastier stared in enigma as to how the dead body had risen to its feet. The king lifted its head and stared at Albastier with red little lit eyes that shone outside of the king’s skull, and then motioned his hand to grab the sword that lay at Albastier’s left hand side. Albastier bent his knee’s and rapped his hand around the handle of the sword, but did not rise to his feet until he was certain of what was going on.
“My grandson of the new era, how hast thy been? I have a challenge for thee, take thy blade from thy hands and make thy grand father kneel before thee; if you are as swift as a knight show me thy skill and put me at ease.” The king said in a raspy voice as he drew the sword it held in its hands and got into a combative stance. Albastier finally knew what he had to do, if he thought what the riddle meant. He finally rose to his feet and got into his combative stance. “(Damn it, I wish I had a bigger sword, or at least a shield to defend my self with.)” Albastier grumbled to himself as he waited for the skeletons move.
The dead king moved swifter than Albastier thought, in a blink of an eye the king was already in front of Albastier’s face, the green fumes pouring into his space of breathing. Albastier coughed from the fumes and was stunned for several seconds before being brought down to his knees and was kneeling before the dead king; who walked up and placed the edge of his blade at Albastier’s chin. Albastier finally got feeling of his body and used some of his light powers to aid him in his movement. As he made his way to the dead king back, he swung the blade down at the back of the king’s knees. As the king felt his legs being cut off, it hollered in pain and fell down with a light thump. The blade it bared in its hands slid across the leaf covered floor and skidded to a halt at Albastier’s feet. Picking up the sword, Albastier walked over to the dead king and stared down at it with saddened eyes.
“thou hast fought valiant and true, now vanquish thy grandfather, so he could sleep with ease.” The king said as he placed a boney hand on Albastier’s pant leg. Albastier hated these moments, he wished that he would never have to kill or vanquish any thing unless it was evil. But doing what he was told as a true knight would to obey the call of a king, Albastier raised his new weapon and swung at the middle of the king’s skull, splitting it in half. A loud scream, like a banshee, went off and the green cloud of poisonous evil floated up and broke into partials of the wind. Grabbing the crown that the king wore, Albastier left the sacred grounds and made his way back to the camp site before night fall. Albastier walked up and was surrounded by the party instantly. They asked questions of worry and anger. Albastier laughed and told every thing to the last detail, and added some of his hog wild stunts to it as well. After his story was done he stared up at the Star lit sky and smiled, for he saw some thing that is rare to see, a shooting star flew past in the night sky and Albastier was the only one who saw it. The only wish he made was that his grandfather rested in peace, forever till they met again. With a smile, Albastier rubbed the back of his head and thought of a way to apologize the group by making dinner for them, and serving some sweet wine. Tonight was the night of the Kings, or at least that is how Albastier looked at it.
~Chapter Two~ Kingdom of Allura
The party Walked lazily down the dirt road that led to the kingdom gates. They were still tired and full from the recent dinner they ate the night before. Kaige walked around in circles and his speech was slurred due to him being drunk still. In order to keep him near by, Albastier tied him to a leather leash, so he wouldn’t wander to far off road. As they advanced closer to the south gate of Allura, a large noise of lightning sounded through the sky and a portal of fire ripped open in front of them. Albastier handed the leash to Aluna, and drew his Seven Kings Blade from its sheath and got into a combative stance. A blast of fire came out of the flaming hole and shot towards Albastier, who just blocked it with his sword. The blast was so powerful, that it made him move backwards several feet before loosing balance and falling backwards on his back. Anarchy chuckled as he walked out into the sun light and let out a big sigh like he was imprisoned for a thousand years. Kaige quickly sobered up and knew who was here with them. He turned around to look at Anarchy, who just turned his head and smiled at him. Anarchy chuckled in his throat and stared at the angry face of his former puppet. Kaige used his metallic hand to slice the leather leash and drew his jaded blade once more.
“I thought I killed you Anarchy! What the hell are you doing back here!” Kaige said through gritted teeth.
“Aw, is that a welcome back hello from the infamous Kaige? Well you have certainly grown since the last time we met, and I see you have a new feature to the body I was trapped in.” Anarchy said as he flipped his black hair out of his eyes and his reptilian eyes stared at Aluna, the gnome, and Katrina. “Ah yes an Katrina how beautiful you’ve turned out to be, what has it been a month already since I’ve been gone? Hahaha, well now Its has been a while since I have tasted the sweetness of souls, so I think that yours will do just fine.” Anarchy said as he began to lick his lips with his snake like tongue.
“You will do no such thing! Do you hear me Anarchy! Albastier give me the Seven Kings Blade!” Kaige shouted at Anarchy for a moment before turning to his brother and requesting the Sword that he had recently obtained.
“But The blade can’t be held by the hands of a child! Only the hands of a knight, if a none knight holds it then their flesh will burn and their bones will rot off their body!” Albastier shouted at Kaige for his stupidity.
“But you forgot I was claimed by the holy order as the Vanquisher of Daemons, so that makes me part of the Holy Knight hood! Also I have a metallic hand! So throw me the Sword now!” Kaige shouted back, so with out argument, Albastier threw the blade and Kaige caught it with his metallic hand.
“This may become interesting, you’re duel wielding two great swords and you’ve never even fought me in your home realm before, but I’ll make sure to kill you quick...DEVILS RAIN!” Anarchy started to say until he charged at Kaige with his flesh blade and began to swing at Kaige like a vagrant fighter. Kaige danced left and right, and ducked, dipped, and rolled to make sure that he wasn’t his lunch for the day. Finally when Anarchy began to grow tired, Kaige swung and swung until his left arm grew tired so he let go of his left sword and began to use the Seven Kings Blade with two hands. Albastier grew scared for he thought the sword would tear off his flesh and rot his bones, but it did the opposite and gave his the strength and speed of a true knight. Kaige was the one dancing and swinging this time, until finally he swung across Anarchy’s chest and made the Celestial cross and shouted his skill once more.
“Celestial Cannon!” Kaige cried out and a blue light shone on Anarchy’s chest once more and blasted him into the portal from whence he came from.
“How the hell did you do that Kaige!” Albastier shouted as he rose to his feet and ran to his brother, who began to pant like he had been running for hours on end.
“I have a gift called The order of the monks, that allows me to use powers of both light and dark along with the other five elements at my will, I have only figured out two skills at my own use.” Kaige said as he flopped to his rear and began to stare at the half cloudy sky.

Your comment was posted, but it wasn’t long enough to count as a review. Reviews need about four complete sentences (at least 250 characters). Try writing another review that explains your thoughts in more detail — the author will appreciate it, and you’ll earn points for it.
Ok please space your paragraphs. I had a struggle in reading this.
-He was wanted four murdering five cities and three villages, but hopefully she didn’t know that.-
This bit doesn't make sense.
-The whole time he was ordering, he kept his head down so the bar maid didn’t see his face, for the man was a wanted man of four hundred billion gold coins on his head; wanted dead or alive.-
Show! Don't tell!
-He was wanted four murdering five cities and three villages, but hopefully she didn’t know that.-
How in Squallz's holy name can you murder five cities?
-Surprisingly, she was very dry, almost like she had placed a spell on herself to prevent the rain to fall onto her body.-
This bit I like. Quite original.
-“And every time I change into the beast I cause a chain reaction and blow up the City or village off the world and leave it in ruins, and bodies are spread across the land with burnt skin and their souls have been stolen by me, the monstrous Devils Rain, I am really a nice man at heart and I mean no one any harm, but I can’t control thee beast inside of me…-
Chan reaction? As much as I like combining fantasy with science fiction, putting chain reaction in the sentence did not work.
-She was a half elf with blond hair and blue eyes, her name was Aluna and she had been a spy for the kingdom for almost twelve years.-
Grr cliche. After this bit, I just started skimming the story.
Review: Ok I just skimmed it and I found this to be an example of a cliche. I mean come on...demons? elves? Don't think changing the spelling of a word can save you, it's just like the attempt that Chris from Eragon did.
Come on man. Someone being possessed by a demon has been done heaps!! Your characters and settings all seem stale to me no offense.
Oooh its big! Can you break it up into paragraphs so's its easier to read? (Yeah, I know that's rich coming from me, the one who NEVER makes paragraphs, but I'm trying!
