I saw you today.
I know I can't have you
I know you probably don't like me the way i like you
Years of just friends.
Years of am I pretty.
Years of blushing madly over you.
Years of wanting you to wrap your arms around me, telling me I'll be okay.
Making me feel better.
The hours on the clock turn into Days and then eventually I have to move on.
I like you is what I really want to say.
The words never make it past my throat.
So many years of hurt and betrayal.
Hoping that seeing you smile my favorite smile
Would make me feel like I am actually okay.
Knowing when you frown is when I know reality is there.
I really like you.
I can never say it.
I don't want to hurt you like I know I probably will.
I am your friend until the end.
Unfortunately that is all. The sentence alone reveals my deeper most inner feelings about you.
I Really Love you

I really appreciate this piece of writing. I wish the person whom you love so much could read this and be yours forever!
The reflection of that deep feelings from your heart is wonderful. It feels as if your heart is talking. You seem to be in a true love for that person. But never ever give up and that person will love you back, a time will come for that. Don't lose hope.

In spite of all this, I have found a minor error in this poem and that is of capitalization.
"I know you probably don't like me the way i like you"
There the "i" should be "I". But maybe you just made a mistake you didn't notice.
Keep it up!!

Hi Hekelley, I really enjoyed this piece of poetry as I felt this poem on a personal level as someone who is constantly in this state. I especially liked the ending as it was a great way to wrap things up. The only thing that I could see to improve this poem was that some of the phrases kind of felt out of place, but that's more of a problem with the flow of it all as it was choppy for it would start then stop without any warning. Other than that I really enjoyed it, and can't wait to read it when you make the changes.
Sincerely,

Hey! Just a short review.
So I really liked the idea of this poem but I felt like it has a great deal to improve on at least for me to say that I love it. I think the first step would be fixing your grammar and punctuation. That means not capitalizing every first letter in a line and capitalizing 'i's. That also mean adding the proper punctuation. This will help it flow better and make it look nicer. The next thing is fixing the confusing sentences and working on the story. Now a lot of the confusing sentences were fixed when we fixed the grammar and punctuation but there is still a bit of sentences that need word rearranging. Now the story. By this I mean the confusion in the story which there isn't that much problem but there were some moments of unclear. I also think you should think of adding stanzas. The last thing is that some of your lines were cliche which was sort of unappealing.
This may look like a lot but it's really not, it's actually the process I go through before publishing a work. I really hope I helped and sorry for the short review,
Alice ♥
OMG!
I really love...this poem!! I think its really sweet and really describes some girls or guys emotions when It comes to long-time crushes. I also love the way you used repetition. It really shows how long and hard time has been for your character. There are two things I really have to say though. One, that the length of your sentences grows longer and shorter. If you want the length to grow or shrink in a pattern, that`s usually fine. But one must make sure the story flows, and the sentences match the mood your trying to create. Two is that your poem grows a bit confusing in the last two lines. I`m not sure what you mean by her 'last line', but I feel like she means her last line, ever, before she dies. And that`s quite a bit drastic, considering the entire poem is how she ' Likes him'. I feel like the beggining is describing someones high school crush, and at the end their true love.
i dunno
Love it anyways!!

Lucy I totally agree with you thank you for your feedback. No she doesnt die it means her last line describing her...emotions towards him leading up to the last part
