Just something a little different that I thought of in the spur of the moment. Suggestions are, of course, welcome so keep 'em coming. See if you can guess what the poem is about.
I watch you in the dead of night,
With eyes that shine with pure delight;
Or is it all simple insight
For me to watch your tragic plight,
Would sure bring screams of ample fright.

ahhh i love riddles...
but i have absolutely no idea what the answer to this one is.
Line three seems to just... throw it off a little, yes? It's a bit shorter than the others. I think you should make the poem as a whole a bit longer; you know, for those of us who can't guess what the speaker is... well, speaking about.

I guess... something dark. Vampire? *has vampires on the brain*
Loved it. I can't write mysterious poetry. It's just like, here's what happened... blah... blah. I awknowledge your wonderous talent.
The ryhme didn't work for me. Other than that, I really liked it. Please, expand! This theme deserves a longer poem!
Um, elaborate.
Right now, it's x, an abstract variable. Make it tangible. Please. You've got something good here.
Ummm....traffic lights? Its a lame guess but it's all I got at the moment, my brain is kind of mush from algebra.
I liked it. Reminded me of a song that has zip to it.
It was a fun little poem, but I couldn't guess what it was, sorry. Maybe the moon?

It's a fun little poem but that's just it; it's little and too short for me.
This was very cute. I actually though the continuing rhyme worked.
- Line three was a bit odd and I really think it makes very little sense. Consider something else?
- It was very short. It looked a bit like a Haiku rather than a poem so try to lengthen it?
Was it about some sort of creature of the night? A vampire or werewolf?

As a poem this is a little short, and personally I think continuous rhyme gets slightly annoying.
As a riddle I like this... though I still haven't worked out what it's about...
*Thinking hard*
I'm intrigued.
