The end of Emma Stone

Emma stayed standing in the cold night holding Jace close to her body. She rocked back and forth hoping he would stay quiet till Rachel came to pick them up. Out of patience and full of fear she began the long trek from the hospital, to her home. A vast wind from a winters night chilled her to the bone and paralyzed her where she stood. The only thing she could do was shiver. Tucking her head down to Jace she heard a car horn beep. It was Rachel. Still stricken by the wind, she shuffled over to the truck.

The warmth of the truck enveloped her; stopping her tremors. "Emma are you sure you're doing the right thing? I mean this just don't make no sense." She said breaking the silence. "Rachel, I don't have any other choice. I know what I'm doing seems wrong, but one day Jace is gonna thank me for this." Emma stared down at the baby as she spoke. He was only born two days ago and already she remembered his features. His plump cheeks, beautiful green eyes and button nose; the way his little hair curled and the fact that it was so long. She loved him with all her heart. "Emma, I don't think I can keep helping you. Not in this way, I have my own family to think about. I know times are hard and I don't mind providing diapers and baby formula, but for right now this is as far as I can go." She didn't like having to desert her friend in need but she knew she had to draw a line. Emma nodded in agreement.

Before she knew it Emma was home, and was watching Rachel drive away from her house window. The lights were off as she expected. It was late and Ben would have already been asleep. By the time she got to her room Jace began to stir and whine. She gently put her pinky in the baby's mouth, who accepted it immediately. Staring at him lovingly she began to hum her favorite lullaby and snuggled him close.

Emma could feel the warmth of a cold sun on her back, telling her it was morning, but she ignored it. But then Ben started yelling. "Who the hell is this!?" He yelled pointing at Jace who she still held in her arms. "It's our baby Ben. Our beautiful little baby boy. Jace Stone, doesn't that sound wonderful." She beamed at her husband who stood hovering over them. "Where the hell did you get it from!?" He yelled. She didn't reply, she only stared at his face as if she didn't understand the question, and compared his features to Jace's. "Well? Where did you get him!" He asked again. "From the hospital, that's where you get baby's from." She whispered.

Ben put his fingers on his temples and spoke slowly, "Did you steal the Robinson's baby Emma." "No Ben." "Did you steal the Robinson's baby!" His patience was running low. "He's gonna be so much happier with us Ben. The Robinson's are not meant to be parents. They don't know how to love a little child." She confessed and picked Jace up from the firm mattress. "Are you crazy? What's the matter with you!?" Jace let out an attempt of a cry but instead it sounded like a cats meow. "I was only thinking about you," She said gesturing at Ben, you promised not to leave me if I gave you a child." She pushed the child toward him but he pushed him away. "You better have gotten rid of him by the time I come back Emma or I swear you're gonna regret it." He warned and left the house for work.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Emma could feel the heaviness in the air and decided to get out as fast as she could. She put on her purple plush house slippers, and pea green coat and left the house with Jace, who had continued to cry. With no destination in mind she walked and walked until she could feel her legs no more, until she she reached the bus stop. She walked underneath the red hood that was placed over the bench and sat next to a thin woman. "Hi, my names Lisa." The woman turned toward Emma, but was ignored. "Miss?" She tried again, this time getting her attention. "Huh? Oh sorry, my names Emma. It's nice to meet you." She said. "Are you from here? I've never seen you before." Replied Lisa. "No, I live a couple streets over actually." She said gesturing with her hands. Lisa shook her head understandingly and stared into the dull sky. Lisa was tall and skinny with sharp features and silky long brown hair that reached to the middle of her back, while Emma was plump and short with stringy hair that stopped at her shoulders.

"What a lovely baby." She said breaking the silence that had fallen between them. "Oh, thank you. He's only three days old. Do you have any kids of your own."  Lisa eyebrows raised but then softened when she smiled, "No I don't have any of my own just yet, but I do babysit for the Moors." She smiled down at Jace and offered him a finger to hold onto, calming him down almost instantly. "Well do you want this one?" Replied Emma. "Excuse me?" Lisa was confused. "I said if wanted this one. My husband doesn't want him so I have to get rid of it." Lisa gasped and covered her mouth in response. "I'm sorry for putting all of this on you, I shouldn't have even come here. Sorry for wasting your time." She readjusted Jace in her arms and made her way back home.

"Wait, wait!" Yelled Lisa, trying to get her attention. She didn't bother turn around. On her way back she was spotted by her friend Kelly, who offered her a ride. "Are you okay Emma, what's wrong?" After explaining on her situation on their way Emma realized what she had to do. "Now Emma what you are doing don't make no sense. If he don't want to be with you then there's no reason to fight this hard for a useless cause. Its like you're beating a dead horse honey. In the end it's what's best for you." She patted Emma on the head and stared at Jace. Emma shook her head understandingly,"But I still love him," and got out of the car.

She went into the house and made Jace a bottle, "I love you too baby." She kissed him on the head.

"Did you get rid of it!" She heard Ben yell from the front door as he came in. Emma's eyes darted towards the clock, it was only 3:00, he wasn't suppose to be back home till 7. Without saying a word she grabbed the bottle and ran out the back sliding door and into the shed. She could hear him stomping through the house looking for her, she could feel it every time he slammed a door coming up empty. She knew she didn't have much time left. "What did I tell you huh! Emma get out here right now! Emma!" She could hear things breaking in the kitchen. She held her closed her eyes and held Jace tightly, he let out a small whimper and all was quiet.

Is he still there? She thought, even though she knew. He was waiting for her to come to him, to walk right out and into his arms. But before long, Ben was breaking through the door. "Emma!" He yelled while she screamed and turned away. The door lay in pieces as he stood over her. He grabbed her by the shoulders, pulling her onto her knees. "I will never love you no matter how many children you bring home to me." He pulled Jace from her tight grip and threw her on the rough shed floor. Cursing as he went, he got back into his truck and drove away. Emma screamed at the sound of the engine, and ran after him. "No! Please, Ben no! Please give him back to me!" She could see from the back window that Jace was in his arms and that he was taking the blanket off of him. He held it up in the air, and let it fly out the window and onto the ground.

Emma fell to her knees crying. She held the blanket to her face, taking in his scent. Later that day while Rachel watched the news the story of a missing baby was the story of the night. "A stolen baby was safely returned to the Robinson family today after the baby was allegedly kidnapped by Emma Stone late last night. The baby was returned by Emma's husband Ben Stone. Once the police tried to arrest Emma, they were only able to find a note written to Ben and an unconscious Emma. The note read, "My dearest Ben, I am sorry that I was a bad wife, and I'm sorry for not being able to give you all of the children that you wanted. I tried my best to make you happy but my love was never enough. I wish we could have been as happy together as we were in the beginning. I'm sorry for leaving you but I know you will find another wife who doesn't have a malfunction. I wish the very best to you,

Love, Your Emma."

"Sadly this is the end of Miss Emma Stone, police have reported that she has just died from a drug over dose and a broken heart. I'm Jeff Waters with Fox News."

So this is what you force me to review.
Fine then.

Spoiler
Out of patience and full of fear she began the long trek from the hospital, to her home.

Take the comma you already have and move it to after the word 'fear'.

Spoiler
Tucking her head down to Jace she heard a car horn beep.

Put a comma before 'she'.

You do that thing with the dialogue in the second paragraph. Seems to be a bad habit of yours ;)
But yes, individual lines for each person speaking.

Spoiler
and was watching Rachel drive away from her house window.

This is oddly phrased. It sounds like she's driving away from the window. Which of course wouldn't be weird if this was like a drive-thru type deal, but I'm guessing it's not.

Spoiler
Emma could feel the heaviness in the air

The heaviness? A think a better word could be used here.

Spoiler
Do you have any kids of your own."

Was that a question? I could've sworn that was a question.

Spoiler
Lisa eyebrows raised

Lisa's.

Spoiler
"I said if wanted this one.[/spoler]

You must be feeling left out.
Get it?
Geeeet it?

[spoiler]Emma shook her head

You used this before, but I don't think you meant to.
To shake your head means to go left and right, nodding means up and down.
I don't think you'd shake your head understandingly.

You have no idea how many times that third to last paragraph made me flinch by misleading me. First you say he threw her on the ground, and for a second I thought you meant the baby. The you say threw it out the window, and I thought you meant the baby again. Not complaining, probably that's just what I was expecting to happen with this guys behavior. Nothing to fix there.

Spoiler
Later that day while Rachel watched the news the story of a missing baby was the story of the night.

This should start a new paragraph while the last sentence should be added to the previous one.

Spoiler
a note written to Ben and an unconscious Emma.

This makes it sound like the also was also addressed to the unconscious Emma. Perhaps mention that before the note.
Also, make the note it's own paragraph.

Spoiler
and a broken heart.

The only time you'd ever hear a line like this from a newscaster is in a sappy love story.

The rest is fine.
Now then, all technicalities aside, this was a lovely piece. It told a great story in not many words, even if it took a cliche turn. You told a story heard a million times in a fresh way, and that shows just how creative you are. Your personal touches to this story made it a nice piece, and I congratulate you for that.
Keep up the so-so work.
Kidding, keep up the great work.

xD thanks. What was the cliche turn that it took?

Killing yourself after not being loved by the person that you love.

Ahh. I didn't realize.

Crystallia! Here again!

Okay, so as Gingerhead said, poetic. Amazing.

The only thing I could think about from an editing standpoint is to separate the dialogue from the regular text depending on who's saying and doing what.
Example: "What did I tell you?!" He screamed.
"Uhh..." I stuttered for a reply.

Or something like that.

Last thing, biffles, Emma Stone is the name of an actress... The one in 'The Help' and 'Zombieland'. You might wanna consider changing that.

hahaha I knew her name sounded familiar when it pooped into my head haha

UNBELIEVABLY poetic, man. Awesomely deep and meaningful.

You are going to love some of your characters because they are you, or some facet of you, and you are going to hate some characters for the same reason.
