Chapter 1: The Hidden Classroom
Amaya, an ordinary high school student, stares blankly at her schedule. Amid the regular subjects like math and literature, one stands out—"Eidos Studies." She furrows her brow in confusion. No one else in her class has this subject listed. Not her friends, not even the teachers seem to know what it is.
"Must be a mistake," she murmurs to herself.
Later that day, Amaya heads to the room number listed for "Eidos Studies." She expects an empty, forgotten corner of the school, but when she arrives, she finds the door slightly ajar. The classroom is dimly lit, with ancient-looking books and strange, futuristic machines scattered around. A single desk sits in the center, and at it, another girl is sitting—Rin, a quiet classmate who rarely speaks.
“You too?” Amaya asks, stepping inside.
Rin looks up, just as confused. “Yeah... I don’t even remember signing up for this.”
Before they can speak further, the door shuts behind them with a loud click. Both girls freeze as the lights dim and a hologram of an older woman appears at the front of the room.
“Welcome, Amaya and Rin,” the hologram begins, its voice calm and steady. “I am Dr. Kaede Takahashi, your teacher. You have both been chosen for a very special course.”
The hologram flickers, showing images of worlds, people, and creatures Amaya has never seen before. Her heart pounds in her chest. Something feels deeply unnatural, and yet, she can’t look away.
Dr. Takahashi’s hologram continues. “This course, Eidos Studies, was crafted centuries ago for those destined to shape the future. You won’t find it in any school records, for it exists beyond time. You’ve been brought here because you both possess the potential to save the world.”
“Save the world?” Rin repeats, disbelief dripping from her voice.
The hologram nods. “Indeed. You’ve been chosen to learn a forgotten science—Eidomancy—the study of controlling disease through manipulating the very essence of life.”
Amaya and Rin exchange shocked glances.
"But why us?" Amaya finally asks. "We’re just normal students."
“That will be revealed in time,” the hologram responds cryptically. “But know this: I foresaw a great disease that will strike humanity decades from now. A virus, one that no modern science can cure. Only those trained in the arts of Eidomancy will have the knowledge to fight it.”
The girls are speechless. The idea of a future disease, one that hasn't even happened yet, strikes them as both terrifying and surreal.
“Wait," Rin interjects, "If this is from the future... how did you know we would be here?”
Dr. Takahashi smiles gently. “I was a scientist who could peer far, far into the future. I saw your destinies. I knew that one day, you two would come here, needing this knowledge. This classroom has existed for centuries, waiting for the right students.”
Chapter 2: The Lost Science
From that day onward, Amaya and Rin attend the hidden classroom daily, learning things they can’t tell anyone else about. Dr. Takahashi’s hologram teaches them about the deep connection between living organisms and the invisible forces of the world, energy patterns that can be manipulated to heal, alter, or destroy.
Their lessons take them through strange, magical experiments, blending advanced scientific concepts with something more mystical. They practice shaping "eidolons"—beings of pure essence—learning how to direct them to attack harmful cells or nurture diseased organs.
However, no matter how much they learn, there’s always an underlying unease. Neither Amaya nor Rin can shake the feeling that there’s something they’ve forgotten about this class, some reason they were chosen. But whenever they try to recall, it slips away like sand through their fingers.
Chapter 3: The Awakening Memory
One evening after class, Rin confesses something that’s been bothering her. “I... I think I knew this place before.”
Amaya raises an eyebrow. “What do you mean?”
“Dr. Takahashi,” Rin says quietly, “I’ve seen her before, in my dreams. Or... maybe my memories? I don’t know. I think we’ve met her. Not just the hologram, but the real her.”
Amaya feels a chill run down her spine. She too has been having strange dreams—of a woman’s voice calling out to her, of futuristic laboratories, and... of a promise. But she can’t place any of it.
Rin continues, “I think something happened. Maybe we agreed to this, but we don’t remember why.”
Their thoughts are interrupted by a sudden surge of energy in the room. The hologram of Dr. Takahashi flickers to life without warning.
“You’re starting to remember,” she says, her tone softer than usual. “The truth is... both of you are the last survivors of a time that hasn’t come yet.”
Amaya’s eyes widen. “What are you talking about?”
Dr. Takahashi’s expression becomes sorrowful. “Years from now, when the disease strikes, humanity will fall into chaos. You both will be among the last to survive, but you won’t be able to save everyone. When you realized the end was near, you sought me out, knowing I could send your consciousness back in time—to this moment, where you could prepare and stop the outbreak before it even begins.”
The girls stare, struggling to comprehend. They had lived in the future? But now they were... here?
“Your memories were sealed to protect the timeline,” Dr. Takahashi explains. “But now that you’ve learned enough, it’s time for you to remember your mission. The disease, the one I saw so long ago, is only years away from surfacing. And you two are the only ones who can stop it.”
Chapter 4: A Race Against Time
With their memories returning, Amaya and Rin’s purpose becomes clear. Their training intensifies, pushing them to master Eidomancy faster than ever before. The knowledge they once lost floods back, and the weight of the future—both theirs and humanity’s—rests heavily on their shoulders.
They discover that the disease isn’t just a random mutation; it’s something far darker, possibly man-made. Someone, or something, in their original timeline had unleashed it intentionally, and it’s up to them to stop the catastrophe before it can take hold.
But time is running out. Whispers of strange illnesses start appearing in the news. Amaya and Rin must race to finish their training, prepare for the coming outbreak, and confront a shadowy force that seems to be aware of their mission.
The fate of the world hangs in the balance, and only the knowledge from a hidden past—and future—can save it.

First off, this is such a great premise. I'm a sucker for wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff so I was immediately hooked.
This contrast really emphasizes that we're dealing with different timelines and nothing is linear.
I love how Dr. Takahashi seems to know more than she lets on, and how the girls feel like they know so much more than they do but that knowledge can only be revealed with time.
The introduction of the Eidolons as a new species is also super interesting. I would love to learn more about them and their behaviours/abilities, maybe even how they came to be or how they were discovered.
The pacing was a bit quick, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I just think a story as interesting as this could do with a bit more build-up and a deeper exploration of time-travel and the really intriguing subject of Eidomancy.
Overall, this is a really interesting plot with a lot of opportunity for world-building, I'm looking forward to reading more chapters if you continue.

I personaly think there might be a lack of emotion, but this is just my opinion, I am no profesional or anything!
In the first chapter, you mention "just an ordinary high school student", but I don't think you necessarily need to say it with words. Maybe try talking more about her, or her starting her day like any other high school student would—so that reader notices that she seems "ordinary" without you habing to mention that!
