Ok. This one's a bit abstract. If any of you have listened to the band TOOL then you'll surely know what this is about. If you haven't I strongly recomend you do. Truly (Third)Eye opening.
Well, briefly, for those who don't know. It's about delving into deep thought (a new conciousness) and becoming a more evolved, mind-opened human. It's really difficult to explain and I'd seriously recomend listening to TOOL, and with that, researching their songs. They've helped me evolve so much as a person.
Here's the poem:
An evolution
An eye-opening experience
To explore and feel something
And then something more evolved
Like coming out of a deep coma
To this new sense
And you feel you’re someone else
Feel it through your body
But the change won’t be physical
But emotional
To pry open that eye
To experience the evolution
Mind evolution
Feel it pulse through you like a river red
Embrace it
It will find you
And you can live in unison

I have never listened to TOOL in my life, so yes, I have no idea what you're talking about. But It seems good so I don't have to comment on it do I.
P.S.: I definitely agree with Dream Deep about the Yes part.
You wrote that very elegantly. I really liked it. I've never heard TOOL, but I think I know what you mean about the abstract weirdness of certain music helping you develop as a person. I'm an enormous fan of Yes ( and Asia, and Genesis, and the New English Rock Ensemble) - perhaps you've heard of them? - which is all abstract, kind of it-means-what-you-want-it-to-mean music. I really see your point. I understand completely.

It wasn't as good as some of the other stuff I've seen from you, but still good nonetheless. You got the point across, which is what you were trying to achieve in the first place.
Keep in mind, this is coming from someone who once heard about a minute of a Tool song, that's about it.
