An Ode To Mac n' Cheese :3

Oh Mac n' Cheese,

A dish so divine and easy to please,

With your golden crust and creamy embrace,

You warm our hearts and fill our face.

In your cheesy abyss we find delight,

Where cares of the world are cast aside, taking flight.

Elbow noodles in a sea of cheddar so bright,

Where every bite is a heavenly plight.

With your comforting warmth and tender touch,

You soothe our souls and never too much.

A classic combination, simple yet so rich,

Our taste buds sing to your melodious pitch.

From the stovetop to the microwave's glow,

You're the meal that never says no.

Whether you're plain or baked with bread crumbs so grand,

You're the ultimate food, the whole country's demand.

In boxed form or homemade with care,

You're the food that's always there.

For the young and the old, you're a delightful feast,

A culinary treasure, a bond that will never cease.

(*Cries in this took me way to long to write* T-T)

Hey! Coming in to review this awesome poem. (the message of which i vehemently agree with)
Somehow, you turned mac n’ cheese into such a poetic delight. I can’t believe the rhyme, the rhythm, the imagery. I’m hungry now.
One of my favorite lines was this one:

our taste buds sing
To your melodious pitch

Such a wonderful metaphor. You have made me love mac n’ cheese even more.
Also, the fact that there is such a perfect rhyme astonishes me. I didn’t think anyone could write such a serious poem about a food, but here you are
This is a masterpiece.
Happy RevMo!

Hello! Ley here to review this delightful work for you. Today, I’ll be using my 'Autumn-Themed Review Template'! We’ll begin with my initial impressions, then delve into the aspects that stood out like the vibrant hues of fall, and then get into the critiques. I hope you find this review insightful, and that you're enjoying the cozy charm of autumn, wherever you are in the world! Let’s dive in!

The First Signs of Autumn
First of all, I'm obsessed with this poem XD. Not sure if this was meant to be an 'unserious' poem or not, but either way I'm absolutely obsessed. The rhyming was pristine, each rhyme made sense, and went perfectly with another. I, also, think that mac n cheese is a god-sent dish that most people take for granted, and I think this is one of the first poems I've seen on here about the love for it. (It's amazing). Let's get into the specifics!

A Golden Harvest

A classic combination, simple yet so rich,

Our taste buds sing to your melodious pitch.

I looove these two lines for two reasons:
1) it's so true, mac and cheese is so rich yet simple, which is why it's such a popular dish. It's easy to make, yet everyone enjoys it! I think adding the element that it's simple was a great touch-- not overly complex, and gives some insight to people who may not know what mac n cheese is. (Though, I'm not sure how someone wouldn't know XD)
2) The imagery here is awesome. Personifying our tastes buds and having them sing is a wonderful literary element that you added here. I love it!

For the young and the old, you're a delightful feast,

A culinary treasure, a bond that will never cease.

The closing two lines were also my favorites because it closed out the poem perfectly. The mention that all ages can enjoy this gift is an important element and I'm glad you added it! Amazing job. <3

Wilted Leaves and Crisp Critiques
I really don't have any critiques for this piece. I think this may be the first work I've read by you, and I'm not at all disappointed! The rhyming was great, the flow was steady and not rushed, and the emotion and imagery you provided for us is unmatched. I love this poem!

Cozy Conclusion
Overall, ahhh! I think this may be my favorite piece I've read all week, it made me smile but I also got to learn that you love mac and cheese, so we relate in that aspect :3. I hope you're having a wonderful day, and happy RevMo!
