Its so dark in this room, made for me alone. With no one me keep me company, but the moon and the stars for the sun never reaches this lonely room. Those who have never done anything right or wrong, they just float peacefully in the sky. Shimmering through the darkness of the night sky, guiding this world. They know the past and the future but they keep silent and always will. They know everyone’s secrets, joy, sorrows, and hate. They know the day everything fell apart, how I lost everything, and how I was locked here. Yes, they know how my story began, for after all they know everything. My memories go all the way back to when I was little: I was the princess of the Sun Clan the clan that reigns over all the other clans. It was back when the clans were at peace but I didn`t e...ven know anything besides peace, so there was no way I could`ve known...
I was in the garden playing with the butterflies. They were beautiful flying gracefully around with their amazing wings. I laughed at every little thing, like a butterfly on my nose. Every time I passed a guard they would smile at me, back then my life was perfect and peaceful. Until the day, one of the guards that had always smiled told me to see my parents in the throne room. I searched his face but there was no sign of a smile.
I ran to the throne room, when I arrived I caught a glimpse of a world everyone had kept hidden from me, a world full of hate, chaos, sorrow, evil : My mom was in tears
"June please keep smiling as you do so often, your smile...So warm..."
"Mother, what`s wrong?"
"Don`t worry about me, I must die for the sin I`ve comitted."
Die? What does she mean die?
"June, please just run, I`m happy I got to see you one last ti-"
"Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!" an ice cold laugh came from the shadows. I stepped back terrified into a shadow nearby. A man stepped out from behind a pillar, he was wearing the royal outfit and looked alot like-
"Father?" I asked confused, this man didn`t look like my father at all, he had a crazed look in his eyes, his hair was messed up, his lips curled into a snarl. “Rozetta, you`ve lived far too long and in your time you managed to give birth to a devil, a monster,” His voice echoed in the empty room quivering with anger and hate, not noticing me.
He unsheathed his sword and rose it- time stopped I passed entirely into the cold evil world leaving that world full of smiles and love behind- father brought the sword down on mother`s head.
I vomited, this was too much, too much, father, mother, what`s happened, what is this sin you`ve committed mother? Who is this monster you speak of father? Why was I called here? What’s happened? Why is mother bleeding? Why did father hurt her? Why?
... The world rushed back towards me. Father was still speaking.
“Now you must suffer, die slowly, you`re lucky that demon isn`t here otherwise she would have died with you.” Another icy laugh escaped from his lips.
Wait am I this demon? Am I the monster mother is dying for? I couldn’t move I was petrified.
“Get up Rozetta, I won`t let you die this easily, after all, this is your destiny.” He raised his hand and vines came out of the ground, raising mother and tightening around her stomach.
“Edwin, why?” mother choked out.
“Because of you, she was born, your child, that witch, and for that I will never forgive you.” He rose his sword one more time, I turned around hiding from the horrifying revenge of my father, I heard mom scream.
“Father, please kill me not her, please!” I came out from the shadows where I had been hiding. Father turned around with a crazed look in his eyes, he started walking towards me, the echo of mother`s blood dripping from his blade was the only thing that could be heard.
Father grabbed my arm with such force that I lost control. I screamed, my sorrow ringing through the throne room. I didn't understand why father was like this, I had never seen him this way. Why, why had he change. I don't want anything to change but there was nothing I could do. I could feel his hand firmly gripping my arm. This couldn't be my father. All of the sudden, father`s clothes burst into flames, growing bigger instead of smaller, until father`s body was devoured by the flames.
I ran to mother,
“Mother, Mother, please talk, please open your eyes, anything, just please…” tears were streaming down my face.
Mothers hand stroked my face and held me close,
“It`s alright, don`t cry, smile that warm smile of yours.” Mother gave me a weak smile, full of love. I returned it back at her.
“See that`s better, now June, I have something very important to ask of you. “I nodded
“I want you to kill me with your own hands, oh June please stop crying, I need you to do this fo-“ mother coughed up blood. Her eyes were pleading.
“I`ll always be with you June, I`ll be up with the stars in the sky, smiling down at you.”
“I`m sorry mother, I love you so much.” I leaned down and kissed her forehead. Mother`s eyes gazed into mine and it was as if she had just seen the life that layed ahead of me, she smiled at me again using all the strength she had left.
“I love you ” Mother disappeared in dust leaving her words lingering heavily in the air. I ran outside trying franticly to find someone with whom I could share my sadness, but there was no one, only angry flames devouring the corpses laying all over the place. I felt so cold, even though the flames were leaping at me, I couldn`t help wondering if it was me who had brought this chaos.
My heart beat so hard against my chest like it was trying to escape from the prison of my terror, it hurt so terribly I was sure at any moment it would break free from my suffering, break free from my guilt, and leave me alone with nothing left inside but the icy feeling of abandonment.
I fell to my knees, my hands clawing at my chest.
No this can`t be happening!
Thousands of dead bodies in front of me, yet not a single one of them had a hint of anger in their soulless eyes, they still wore the... smile they had shown me only a few hours ago.
No, why? Why did this happen? Why me? Why them?
I rose to my feet, I had to find someone, anyone, I couldn`t be alone! I just couldn’t! I walked around a corner and entered a complete battlefield.
There were people everywhere fighting, I could hear the agonizing cries of the dead, the swords slicing terrible wounds, the barbaric shouts of the enemies, and the heavy silence of death which came and passed so quickly that you could barely notice it`s presence.
These people are dying for me, because of what I am. I have made this war, I have caused these deaths, I truly am a monster.
I stumbled through the battlefield, everything had stopped, everyone had stopped, time itself seemed to have stopped. Yet I continued to pass through this horrific land, I stepped through puddles of blood, whether it was the blood of the enemy or my allies there was no way to know. The warm blood sunk into my white stalking’s and my yellow dress.
A few whispers, escaped from the hushed crowd.
“It`s her!”
“Get her!”
“Knock her down!”
They all charged towards me, Shaking their weapons.
I don`t want this! I just want someone to hit me hard on the head and wake me up from this horrific nightmare!
No, I wasn`t that naïve, I knew this wasn`t a dream, there was no way I could dream up something as horrific as this. There was absolutely. No. Way.
I fell to the ground, my heart had grown thorns, they were piercing holes through my chest, sending sharp pain every time I took a breath. I couldn`t take this any longer, my soul was falling apart, screaming.
I let out a pain filled scream, a scream that showed all my sadness, terror, hatred, and pain. A boy leapt out of the crowd and protected me, blocking the way of the enemies.
“I`ll protect you princess”
I couldn`t see him anymore , my vision had gone blurry. My eyes tingled as the pitch black curtain of unconsciousness overwhelmed me.
to be continued ....

Hello there!

I loved the beginning, were you're talking about the stars, and how they watch over us... or, you know. It was just really cool.
Now, I noticed that you had rated this E for everyone, but you've got a fare amount of gore and violence. With that in mind, I would suggest for the future with works like this; 16+ for violence. Just because there are some pretty young writers on here, and also people like a bit of a warning.
I found this very dark, lots of people like that... not myself so much, but you did a great job with it anyway. Though, I didn't find her mother wanting her daughter to kill her, that believable. Most mothers, I think, would die of the most painful death before putting there child through that. Maybe you were trying to make her mom a little less perfect than she thought?
Another thing was, why would her mom call her to the throne room, knowing that would endanger her daughter? I know she wanted to see her one last time... but still. I also wondered why the guards didn't go to the throne room to help, knowing that something terrible was happening... or at least one could have escorted her.
Anyway, those were just a few questions I had after reading this.
You've got me curious now, about what's going to happen with her and... her savior. I'm looking forward to getting to know him! I also really like the way you write, or... both of you? You said this was a co-write? In that case, awesome job guys!!! Keep it up!
See you around!

Hey thankyou so much for the review. So for the mother problem ... well the mother wasn't expecting to meet the fater in the throne room and wanted her to run away leaving her behind, maybe i didn't make this clear enough O.o i'll have to add more information :p For the guards though they were all sent to the front to protect the castle or something (not actually sure about that one XD). This is a piece i actually wrote about 2 or 3 years ago and i actually do have the rest of it. What actually happend is that i came up with the story and was the one wrote it all out first adn because i'm seriously bad with spelling mistaked and all :p well i asked my friend if she could have a look at it and tell me how it was. In the end she helped me with the spelling mistakes but also added a bit of he idea's. So this ended up being are story ^^ (but then again she knows nothing about the whole plot
i'm the one who knows all the hidden secrects)
thankyou so much again for the review!

Cool. You're welcome!
Hi, I will review this for you, as so far no one else has.

I will start by saying I really like the idea behind this piece of writing, and I think you conveyed it well with your descriptions. It was interesting to read, because I think you told an intriguing story. I particularly like this sentence;
'I fell to the ground, my heart had grown thorns, they were piercing holes through my chest, sending sharp pain every time I took a breath. I couldn`t take this any longer, my soul was falling apart, screaming.'
I really like it because of the very effective metaphor you used, which conveyed the passion and anger really well.
However, you had quite a few grammatical errors that I noticed, so I will point out a few of them. Please don't need this in a harsh way; I think this is really good so far.
'With no one me keep me company,' A word needs to be changed for this to make sense. For example instead you could write; 'With no one to keep me company.' You could probably write a few variations to improve.
'Them who have never done anything right or wrong,' You can't use 'them' it should be 'those who have never done anything right or wrong,' otherwise it won't agree in a grammatical sense.
'Until the day, one of the guards that had always smiled told me to see my parents in the throne room.'
I think this should be 'Until that day'- as it is, it doesn't quite make sense.
I am a little confused as to why her father burst into flames? Maybe more detail could have been included, as it happens a little too rapidly. At the same time, you may be withholding this information for a reason, so in that case I apologize.
I also think some of your sentences are a bit too long, and they could do with breaking up with more punctuation.
Overall, it could do with improvement, but no piece of work is perfect! I think you did really well, and the ending is very tense- I can't wait to read more! Well done, keep writing because I'll be reading
Hey, glad you're reviewing, and take this as a help. When copying what someone else wrote, putting it in

Thankyou so much for reviewing. In no way would i take this in a harsh way because your taking some time to review my story, so i can only be thankful for it. I'll make sure to correct those grammatical errors. Maybe one day will i be able to write without making any errors what so ever, if only :p For the part where the father burns. Yes i there is some information I'm trying to hide but its true that this might confuse, so I'll try to add on a little more explanation without giving it all away. thanks for the help ^^
Hey no problem for reviewing, and thank you for telling me how to do the quotes- I had no idea so that is very helpful
