"Your story is about a pirate in a storeroom kicking a stove"

'Challenge accepted'

There's a lone pirate sitting on a crate in the backroom of a restaurant, He'd been sitting there for a while and he decides he needs to walk around. He starts pacing the storeroom, his wooden peg-leg creating a dull thunk with every step. The pirate stops to inspect a stove, It's an old style gas stove the one that needs to be ignited by hand. He looks around and finds a box of matches, lighting one and turning the dial at the same time. The quiet Hissss of the stove is lost to his battle worn ears. He brings the match to the stovetop and smiles with satisfaction at the audible whoompf! of the gas igniting. He starts to pace again, but he stubs his toe on the stove. The pain envelops his one good foot and he hops around on his peg-leg trying to soothe the pain with the random jumping dance. Eventually he turns his menacing eye to the stove, and begins to viciously kick it with his wooden limb. The stove rattles and the metal grill from the lit stove pops out of place and onto the pirates leg, he thinks nothing of, because he cannot see the flaming piece of food on the grill. His leg goes up in flames, He panics, scrambling around and waving his leg all over the place. Spotting a bucket of mop water, he hops over to dunk the fake leg in quickly. He tries to lift his leg, but it's become stuck to the water bucket.

To this day, he paces the storeroom, his bucket-leg creating a sharp Clank! with each step.

I am laughing hysterically! That was great! Let me guess you used the idea generator?
I knew that wooden leg was going to catch flames, I just knew it! From the moment the words, 'wood' and 'leg' appeared I knew what was coming next! The bucket however was not expected.

If his wooden leg is stuck in a bucket forever do they call him, 'bucket foot' instead of 'peg leg'? (Just another horrible joke that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever!)

Cheers,

Nice description! I really felt this piece and the word choice was great. As others have mentioned, a story or message of some sort would be amazing. Really good work I love it. X

Hi! This is a really good piece and I liked the description that you used in here. It makes your words feel a lot stronger and more alive. It's interesting and it reminds me of Pirates of the Caribbean but now days, when you think of pirate you normally think of Johnny Depp no? lol

Anyways, the only thing I would say to improve on would be to insert a story of some kind. This feels like it lacks something. Maybe it was too short...

Most things happen for a reason. Though, usually, the forces that be are immature enough that the reason is comedy.
