I like this story. It's quite refreshing because most stories on here have people dying. Dx Although there isn't a plot or storyline (I call these kind of stories 'doodles'), I like how you portray the boy. Every child has a certain innocence about them that you can only find when they are young. Also, I noticed that you omited names. I do this sometimes, too, and I find that it lets readers step into the characters' shoes.
I think you could improve on describing things, such as the freezer/maid scene, but other than that, I really liked this story. (:
I like this story. Even though I cannot detect anything resembling a storyline (Which this piece might not even require, as it may be a depiction of a boy's life) I am attracted by the innocence displayed by the boy. It is quite refreshing after reading about people dying over and over again.
Your humor, though not as amusing as some of the others I have read, is fine. The incident of the penguin in the freezer needs to be more interesting, as it needs to be elaborated on.
That's very good, actually. In just a second I'll review it properly.
I'm not sure that the boy would think in past tense. If you quote his thoughts directly, perhaps 'It needs a friend' would work more smoothly?
