This is the first chapter. I haven't posted the full chapter I yet because of a limit of two pages, and I decided to divide it into parts because the first chapter has 10 pages all in all. This is the first 2 pages of the first chapter.
Well, let me give you a simple intro.
Risa Ayano is a fifteen year old girl who will live together with a devil prince Gavril Belzet due to circumstances. Gavril ran away from the demon world because he refused to become the next king and marry someone he doesn't love.
That's a gist of it. I'm sure you'll get the story once you've read it.
LET'S START.
.It was on a Saturday evening when Ayano Risa found out that she will be living with her grandfather in his old shrine because her parents are going abroad for a year or two.Risa woke up and jumped out of her bed, yawning. I wonder what I should make for breakfast today. She thought.
She made her way down the hall to the blue-and-green-tiled bathroom, where she washed her face, brushed her teeth and combed her bed-hair. She stared at her reflection. She had light brown and long hair that were a few inches past her shoulder, and dark green eyes that looked as if they were about to cry. It’s all right. She encouraged herself. Afterwards, she sauntered down the stairs, went to the kitchen and started to cook omelets and bacon for herself.
“Come on, Risa. Eat.” She ordered herself, her cheek resting on her left hand and her right playing with her food.
She was always eating alone. Her parents were too busy with work and barely had time for her since she was in elementary. This made her very independent of them. However, she didn’t really like living this way. She’d always make food enough for three persons rather than one every time she cooks, hoping that her parents might come home and eat it together with her. She started to eat her breakfast reluctantly with tears streaming down from her eyes.
After she had finished washing the dishes, she ran back to her room.
“It’s so boring!” Risa exclaimed, throwing her back on the soft, comfy bed. She stared for a few minutes at the glow-in-the-dark stars glued to the ceiling until she felt sleepy. “I hope they come home soon…” she yawned.
A few minutes later, she heard a car-door closing coming from outside their house. It was her parents! They had finally come home. Risa rushed down to welcome them, her eyes filled with excitement.
“My sweet Risa!” her mother exclaimed. Her mother, Hisana, had curly, shoulder-length light brown hair and blue, soulful eyes. “How we’ve missed you! We’re very sorry for not having time for you.”
Every time her parents would come home, they’d always look sad because they’ve missed spending time with their only daughter. They owned a well-known chain of hotels; therefore, they always had their hands full. Risa tried to understand them unselfishly. She knew that they were doing this for their future.
“We are really sorry, Risa.” Her father, Kazuya, said apologetically. He hugged her tightly, and so did her mother.
Risa felt content that moment and wished that all of this would last forever. She doesn’t want to be alone at home again. She wished her parents would just have it easy and stay home. But she knew all too well that it was impossible because they have to go back to their business world tomorrow morning. No. I can’t be selfish. I have to understand them.
The three of them went straight to the kitchen, and Risa started to cook for them.
“By the way, honey.” Her mother began. “We have something to tell you. We don’t want to surprise you or anything.”
“We’ll be going to our hotel’s Paris branch tomorrow afternoon. We know it’s such a short notice but we have to go.” Her father said apologetically.
Risa narrowed her eyes, dropping the spatula unconsciously
That's about it.
