He walks inside, his deep green eyes ablaze. I gasp for air, only trying not to stutter. "You....what are you doing here?" I whisper.
"You know what I'm here for." His voice rang out and echoed throughout the house. From his back pocket he drew a knife, it shone brilliantly and he cackled as he stroked it intently. "You ready for this?"
"W-What?" I stuttered. He raced towards me and held me down. I shrieked as I kicked at him.
"Night night, Princess." I screamed as he plunged the cold blade through my heart. All urge to fight drained for me, I breathed a ragged breath and closed my eyes, slipping into the everlasting darkness that was death.

Hi
I'm new here, and I need to do some reviews. I thought your piece was really descriptive and I am truely curious about what the motive is. When it said short story, I didn't expect it to be this short. I say add more. Give us something to build the images off of. Perhaps you could give us an elusive motive or better struggle. I do like your word choice and I really hope to see more

He will forever be in my nightmares.
