Her Name is Peace
By Cassandra Mazza
See her flying through the sky
In the clouds so very high
Can you find her in the stars?
Hear her laughter in the breeze
Her hair swirling like the sea
Can you hear her all around?
Rainbows falling from her lips
Sunshine at her fingertips
Does she soothe your heavy soul?
Watch her floating like a feather
Over sunsets and the heather
Can you catch her in the wind?
In the daisies she will rest
Till we call her at our best
Will we all give her a chance?

Hi there!
I really like your poem! Peace is something everyone wants, right? I'm not a poet, so I can't really help you improve, but I can praise and encourage you! I like your poem, a lot! Awesome job and keep it up!

P.S. The "Her Name is Peace" character you created reminds me of Mary Poppins! I love it!
'ello there.
so thank you for writing and posting. I hope I'll see more of your work soon.
I'd like to start off by saying that you have great imagery here. It really helped me to see what you were saying. I also really liked the fact you weren't just simply giving me something to see, but you also let me use my other senses.
Secondly, I liked the questions at the end of each stanza. They caught my attention and seemed to enhance the poem for me.I have to say they were my favourite part.
Overall, this poem is really good. Imagery, stanzas, flow and all.

Howdy there!
I think this is one of the best poems I've seen for imagery, I am just bursting with comments about it.
Firstly, I love how you personify peace and as if it is a woman, to me this shows the innocence and nativity of the subject, the fragility. Which in my opinion displays the correct portrayal.
In addition, one of the first things that popped up into my head when I saw the word 'fly' was a dove, as it is a symbol of piece. This strengthens the poem and really reflects the point you are trying to get across.
I really enjoyed it. I'd love to see more from you, well done!
