I am not a fan of the explicit references to the Holocaust--I did not care for your explanation, either. The temptation to reflect on events and make political statements is best, generally, if resisted.

In any case, I am going to assume this a blemish in your record--and leave it at that.

It had a very strong ending, the creative use of big letters turning to nearly nothing was fantastic. I loved it.

Um... WOW. There is alot of symbolism there. ALOT. Might I ask, what set you on the road to this? You put some serious pictures in my head as well. I like it.

After having reflected upon the content of this poem, I've come to the conclusion that I must provide the correct interpretation of this poem, in light of the controversial material.

This section is referring to the extreme conditions that the Jewish people endured in the concentration camps and the starved appearance they acquired as a result.

Cast shadows with finger puppets
with quick flashes of radiation
undulating over cancerous parasites--
skeletal figures rearing like ravenous
[h]olocaust survivors,
as skin stretches too tightly over
misshapen bones that genetics determined
disordered.

Writhe in death agony as life spurts out
of your throat even as it
closes to deny the toxic air entry.

Ephemeral earth undone
by carnage--
as disillusioned revolutionaries
..........chant
WHITE POWER
even as the sun burns them to an ever darkening
shade of
Jew.
