Everyday is a brand new day
I remind myself of that all the time
So why do I keep doing the same thing over and over
I make promises all the time
But I never keep them
So why do I even bother making them
I break so easily
That it’s not even funny
So right now I’m gonna make a plan
I’m gonna go somewhere
Somewhere no one has ever been
Gonna claim it all as It comes
Don’t exactly know why
But it all sounds like a good plan to me
Not quite sure if I’ll pull through and do it all
But maybe if I’m lucky I’ll pull through just this once
And do it all like I said I would.
Maybe today is the day I’ve been looking for
And everything will turn around for the better.
Or is this all just a fantasy I have that is dying to be a reality?
