The boy has fallen in love and got dumped so now he is a lonely puppy and is heart broken he can't go a week without someone, he hates being alone... the girl on the other hand has been hurt so many times she doesn't want to commit to another relationship...

Leah is a musician and she plays piano, guitar, and she sings. She is in high school and she is top of her class. She always put's school and tennis before anything else. She hates tennis but her dad makes her play. She will be in the state champs this year and she is destined to win.
Benjamin is failing all of his classes because he is to worried about finding a girl. He skips class and doesn't do his homework. He is in a metal band and is the drummer. He played football but since he has been flunking his classes he can't play.

Anyway let's get right to it,
Okay...so this isn't necessarily an intro to this story, but more like some sort of blurb or really with the kind of format you've used here, this does seem to read just like a small summary that an author would write down for themselves just to remember the idea of a book. So, if that isn't what you intended here, you may want to reconsider.
That aside though, let's get right down to the actual content of things right here....it looks like this is going to be a bit of a love story although it appears this one starts out by being a relationship that goes fairly disastrously wrong there with one person getting dumped and then sort of going down a bit of a spiral in life. You can certainly spot an interesting contrast there between the response of the girl and the boy, with the girl very clearly going towards a high point of life where the boy appears to be falling even though he's trying to stay afloat.
That's an interesting point considering the first bit here says that they're both fairly hurt here, and seem to be relatively equal in terms of how much this has affected them as far as relationships are concerned. At any rate, it seems like an intriguing story here, one that I'd potentially read.
