No God.
Today I found out there was no God. Today I stopped caring for the guy next to me while becoming the man I don't want to be.
I no longer have hope to keep me going. Now what will give me that strength to get through the day I won't be knowing.
It was faith that brought me up and pushed me forward. Now that it is gone I'm sinking down and going nowhere.
My hope that there is good in everyone is gone. I'm scared to face the cruel world that no longer has a dawn.
It's a dark world with no light. I'm weak, alone, and powerless against any fight. I used to have a friend to talk to. Now my voice is an echo with no end. No one to answer me like before, but I guess it was all pretend.
Today I found out there was no God.Today I found out I'm nothing and alone. I guess I should thank everyone who took all my hope, strength, and love away from me to show me what I really am. For I am nothing without God.

Hey there,
First of all welcome to YWS and thanx for sharing your work here.
Well speaking of religion, I myself am not a very religious person. I'm not saying that I don't believe in God, no. I believe that there is someone up there watching over us. I don't believe in the customs and all of those stuff but I do believe in what I trust. And I trust in him. So next time any of your friend try to judge you on the basis of your religion give them a highfive( on the face with a chair...hahaha).
Anyway I love your poem. It's pretty good and very realistic.
"It was faith that brought me up and pushed me
forward. Now that it is gone I'm sinking down and going nowhere." - my favourite lines from the poem.
Great job, keep it up and never quit writing,

Though i dont really talk about religion as much even with my friends, I do know that there is someone up and out there who made the world what it is today and he must be a pretty cool person, but regardless this was a nice poem that really made me sot and think about the religion and beliefs that we put our heart and soul into, and the other religions outside of america and how their religion is so different yet interesting to us. And i loved the emotion you put into this poem and the aspect of the light and darkness in the world, but this poem can really show that without a religion to believe in the people of this world could easily lose hope and the world could break into chaos without the thought of a consequence from an almighty person above us.
Good Day Chap!
;!)
I like your poem, i really do! and the irony used is awesome!
there's just a little suggestion from my side, that you should really consider the way your poem is laid. You should actually write the lines one after the other than simply writing them all together like an essay. This would definitely emphasize the effect given by the words.
coming to the words, content and theme it was so right from the heart that i couldn't help but re-read it for some 3 to 4 times!(you need to keep it up!
Overall this poem is wonderful ad mesmerizing until you type it down properly with proper punctuation's and gaps. The rhyme scheme too enchanted me!
i heartily wish this review proves to be useful...
looking forward to see more works of yours..
