the time goes slowly. Tick, tock
clock. I don’t want to be in school.
I just want some Rock
and Roll. It’s been ten minutes. Tick, tock
clock. Music, soothe my savage soul.
I don’t wanna solve no math – I just want my Rock
And Roll. Yeah, I want Funk Rock, Punk Rock,
Old Junk, Blues. this work is dull. (Tick, tock, Tick, Tock.)
this boredom kills and fills my soul.
man, I don’t want to be in school!
fifteen minutes. (Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock.)
I just wanna Rock
my world, all night and every day, Rock
my hips to Bass and Riffs. Rock

is a drip. I sold my soul

and Gospel Rock.
but these days are all the same. get up and go to school.

I never learned jack shit in school. I just dream of Rock
all afternoon, I swoon to Bono or Keith Moon - for Rock
and Roll does free my soul.
