This is a beautiful poem that really brings to life the quiet energy of the forest. The atmosphere created is amazing, one can feel the overwhelming presence of nature. I especially like how the tents, being man-made, are weak and feeble under the influence of rain. Great poem.
Roon has already picked out the errors, so can I mention the good things? One word, beautiful. You're strong and independent in your work. It shows just how awesome you are. Keep it up.
Roon here! I’m so happy to be reviewing this, it’s wonderful! I’ll start with nitpicks first though:
Okay, less of nitpicking, more of saying ‘I like’ lol! I think that you should probably make sure you have all your capital letters where they’re needed. Other than that, this poem was really beautiful. But I don’t really know what the purpose is… I mean the title tells us a little, but we should really be able to get a feel for why the poem was written. And it was written extraordinarily well. It’s really, really stunning. The artistic way it’s written makes me think, I don’t care about purpose, it was amazing to read. I’m glad I got to review this it was wonderful.
I think you should also probably try to break up the lines further, it is quite daunting for the reader as it is. I looked at it and thought, wow this is going to take some trawling, but it didn’t, it flowed beautifully, I just don’t want readers to be put off by the amount of text on one line. It would be a true shame for a poem to go to waste like that. And it would be a true waste.
Thank you so much for posting, this was an honour to read and review! Thanks again,
~ Roon
