I like the flow of consciousness you employ in the piece. It gives us an inside track to this persons psychosis, and by person, am I wrong to think this is a women? I think you can use the setting of the story as your ally, and I would recommend you read Yellow Wallpaper sometime. It is a very similar setting and feeling. I think you can play with this work and really do whatever you want with it, and in the end the really important thing is that you are happy with your work.

Thanks for sharing

This was really interesting, I especially liked the beginning. All your questions and comments about the end of the world and people labeled as crazy. It made the narrator sound... sane? I feel like you lost something at then end, but I really have no suggestions, sorry. Anyway, it could be improved, maybe bring it back to the beginning with the whole end of the world thing? I mean, was the guy in the asylum in there because of claiming to see the future? Just clear that up a bit and this will be a wonderfully good story. :) As it is, it's still pretty wonderful.

Dude. DUDE. Minds think A like, I was JUST writing on a workshop Idea from a year ago (In a few days I'm putting it up, I did NOT copy this I swear.)

I love it, intelligence at work with the paint, and the last line was great. "Don''t question me." This whole piece has given us a very good window in to her head, truth, not truth, what they think, love it. Anymore chapters I am so reading.

Thanks! I just want to say this again. I don't know if door finish is flammable. DO NOT try this at home OR to escape the asylum you're locked up in.

Very intresting and revealing on life. Its always been a good question to ponder about whether or not the people in asylums are the insane ones. But then again, this entire story was about not questioning things! I like how the main characther becomes trapped herself by others, knowing that she isn't crazy herself. The ending is very climactic and adds some thrillingness to it. I think the idea of the character burning down the asylum creates a sinister mysteriousness. Amazing story! :)

I don't know how realistic this is D: I don't know if that finish stuff they use on doors is really flammable, but it's what ended up written. feel free to offer ideas on different endings. (after the dialogue part. I like that.) well, in any case, it was fun to write.
