Hey Bee!
Not sure if this is meant to be poetry or just kind of a blog entry but wow this is very vulnerable and brave of you to share. I know feeling unwanted and unloved can feel devastating. I am glad you have some immediate family that makes you feel included.
Sometimes others are completely oblivious to the fact they are contributing to us feeling badly. Having open conversations can be helpful there. If someone considers themselves a friend of yours, usually that means they would care about how you feel when they find out and be thankful you talked with them about it. I know talking about something like this to the people affecting it can be a hard thing to do though.
I am sure the people closest to you (your immediate family as you mentioned) care about and love you and are glad you are on this plane of existence. I don't know your age, but I am sure you have only begun to explore what the world can offer. You are somebody to someone. To me you are Bee and I see your pain and hope you can heal from it. I am sending you love and care through the screen, and I care about you hurting.
On another note: we can't believe everything out brain tells us (at least that's what my therapist says) because our brain is doing its best to keep us alive, not happy. When thoughts start to become overwhelming for me emotionally, I try to bring myself into what is happening RIGHT NOW. That can look like me tuning into my body, like, what do my feet feel like right now? My legs? My hips? My torso? My chest? Ect. Or it can look like me going outside or looking outside and naming everything I can see happening.
This helps me with overwhelm from negative thought processes, but not necessarily the cause of the emotions themselves.
I am wishing all the healing for you! If this was a poem, it is very raw and real in a good way!
hi Bee Pollen & welcome to YWS!
it must feel really painful to feel so unseen and not cared for, so invisible and maybe also disliked. I know I cannot compare my experience to yours, but I think I can relate, maybe in a different way or different level of severity. for me, I've kinda felt excluded or just like my 'friends' are weirded out by me
But please know you are here on this earth for a reason, your life is precious, and there are at least online communities like these where everyone is welcome and we can write and share bittersweetly about all we may go through!
I kind of responded to this like it was a blog post, so if this was meant to be more of a poem, I will say I loved the stream of consciousness writing/rush of words and strong emotion <3
God bless!
i know I do not know if you follow a religion; you are completely free, of course, to or to not read this, but i found this comforting: "The Lord is near those who are brokenhearted, and He will save the humble in spirit."
