Riddle #2

Hello, everyone. Here is another one of my riddle poems. Please review and, of course, answer the riddle. Thank you in advance, for school might take my time again.

This thing that I speak about
Makes us all fear and despair,
Yet we always begin it;
Then say that it was not fair.

Blood is spilled, disaster made,
Earth ruined, living or dead,
Life destroyed, fear is invoked,
Bane of many, it is said.

Hmm! I can't think of anything, except war, but I know that's not it. Well, I an horrible at riddles. Onto the review! This piece is so polished I can't find anything to critique! :elephant: Humph. Hmmm. Ah!

Blood is spilled, disaster made,
Earth ruined, living or dead,
Life destroyed, fear is invoked,

I would split these lines in six, at each comma.

Well, this has been a lame review *sigh* PM me if you need anything!
