In French, Adieu is a final goodbye.
This was written about my ex-best friend
Teenage girls are funny creatures
I don't think I understand most of them
(Even though I am one myself)
Time and time again they hurt one another
(Out of spite or jealousy or just plain spite)
I thought we were above that
My dear former friend
I thought that we were ones to make fun of that
To laugh at their petty ways
But now I see that it was just a mirage
I say adieu
Adieu to all the fun we had
Adieu to late night gossip
Adieu to telling secrets
Adieu to telling jokes
Adieu to outrageous phone bills
Adieu to our band
Adieu to speaking in French
Adieu to everything I associated with you
Adieu to me
And to you
If you think that I am going to be passive about this, however
You, my dear former friend, are sadly mistaken

One of my best friends is a girl who finds herself extremely frustrated by the incessant ambiguity and agenda orientated worlds of teenage girls, I can on some level empathise with your exacerbation.
Strongly written, I like that.
But i still love it!
This sounds a bit awkward. I don't know the correct word for it, but it has to complex conjuctions.
Instead of, "If you think that I am going to be passive about this, however You, my dear former friend, are sadly mistaken"
How about, getting rid of "however" and then it says "If you think I'm going to be passive about this, You, my dear former friend, are sadly mistaken."
Or if you fet rid of "If." then it says "You think that I am going to be passive about this. However, you my dear former friend, are sadly mistaken."
I like this poem but the ending repeats itself a bit much. But that's okay!
To me, it seems more of a rant than a poem; but that's just my personal opinion.
Good luck.
I actually wanted to write something like this to my former best friend.
I actually wrote this once before too, but as a final goodbye to someone who was at one part really close, I think it's an honest way to say it. Sometimes there are just things that you can't help but do, but I understand it.
