I've never really
believed
in love at first sight.
But if anything were to change
my mind,
it would be you.
With a glimmer in
your eye,
and a smile that splits the seams.
With a charisma so
bright,
even the sun feels your warmth.
It's silly
because you're
that boy
in the room that everyone
wants
to know.
Because you're
genuine,
and you're charming,
and can make anyone
shake
with laughter.
You're the
prettiest boy
I've ever caught sight of,
with a beautiful
soul
and infinite passion.
God gave this
earth a gift,
the day you were born,
and I feel so blessed
to
have experienced such an incredible thing
as you.

Hey, I really like this. Quick and simple. There isn't much detail or waffley long words and that makes this really easy to read.
I am unsure off why you underlined "infinite" in the 5th stanza.
My only comment could be that the boy's character is a little shallow, but as this is a meeting for the first time, it has to be. Just keep in mind that if you were going to write about people who had known each other for a long time, there would be faults and idiosyncrasies to shine through the facade.
Awesome work!
Hey, AshleyT13

I really love your poem. Especially, the descriptions of love at first sight. I t really does feel like that a person is speaking from experience and the stanza that exceptionally stood out for me was,
"God gave this Earth a gift,
The day you were born,
And I feel so blessed
To have experienced such an incredible thing
As you."
Good Luck ....
Thanks so much!
Hi I'm Pook, and I'm a reviewer.
See ya later.
This is really going to be a short review. Not that that's a bad thing.
I can tell that this poem is very heart felt. It is beautiful and passionate in it's own personal way. I can tell that there is someone who inspired you to write this, and I hope you've shown them, because anyone who is as special as what's described in this poem deserves to know.
The only critique i can make with this is your capitalization. Make sure that every new line is started off with a capital letter, and not just the start of a new stanza or sentence. That is all that I can say about that, and overall it was really beautiful. The line i found most interesting is read,
"You're the prettiest boy / I've ever caught sight of,". Well, I have never called my boyfriend pretty, but I assume this person must be model-type gorgeous! Ha ha your interesting choice in words makes this poem more intriguing and personal.
That's all for now, though. Excellent job and keep on writing; I guarantee it will get you far.
Thanks so much Pook! I appreciate the criticism regarding capitalization. I didn't even think about that. And yes, he is definitely genuinely pretty. In my eyes, at least.
Hi! Great poem...great story, and one great title. What makes me love it is that it is pretty clear but at the same time not too detailing...plus I love the imagery used. Honestly speaking, you made me want to meet this guy. Hey, if this is meant for somebody, hope that person has something for poetry.
Haha me too! Thanks so much.
Hello! ~(-->^.^<) This poem looks really good!
I can't see anything bad about it at all
The huge amount of positivity in this poem is pretty cool
Whoever this is aimed at will surely be happy to read this said about them! ^//^ The affection for the person is truly reflected powerfully, and it's hard to imagine the boy as anything less than magnificent
The 'shake with laughter' part is actually sliightly creepy, but not enough to make it into a negative thing or anything. It actually has the opposite effect of further strenghtening the message!

I loved some of the imagery used, like warming the sun! Which might have disastrous effects on the earth given the proximity but oh well
If this is a personal thing you're writing for someone, good luck!
Thank you!
