I may be not be alone
Still I feel as if not a soul cares
Or much less looks my way
“Close your eyes”
I hear
“You have nothing to fear”
As if in a trance I obey
I can almost feel something that’s
Not quite so real
Reality slips away
For a while everything seems okay
I know crazy as it may seem
I will continue to dream
That somewhere out there
