E - Everyone

Not here for now

by Apehdavid2

Villian in my own story

Waking up from a dream to a nightmare

We are not the same

Different category

Why can't we just leave this life?

The Bible say it's mandatory

I'll live forever

Lol, maybe just a century

Everyone has their past

Here is one of mine

I once tried jumping of my dormitory

Mid air then I realized;

Fuck this building is multi-storey

Afterwards,

I came to a cold realization

My own existence is now history

people ask is there an after-life

Well, all I can say

I'm in purgatory

I saw the devil

He was in an offertory

The devil said

"THIS IS MY TERRITORY"

In honesty

The devil isn't what the books say

His presence was full of glory

I couldn't breathe

Fuck, what is wrong

I'm having a pain

I think it's respiratory

His messages were clear

Better than that of the Bible

He had an Auditory

Only message I got

Don't live life in a worry

Then i figured

Oh, I lived life wrongly

Only thing I achieved

Was to exit it in a hurry

Interesting writing, thank you for sharing! I love how well it flows. I love the simple sentences, one after the other. It is a very quick read, so that’s another thing I enjoyed.

I like how you made the writing feel very casual. With the LOL and the oh, etc. Feels very narrative and is not daunting to read. Thank you very much for writing and I hope to see more soon :)

Good poem.It tells us,the readers, that the devil isn't evil and probably never even was.He only wants us to live life.My favorite parts were these lines:"Oh,I lived life wrongly.Only thing I achieved was to exit it in a hurry."

This tells us to not worry so much about life.Good job on the poem!
