Praying For A Miracle.

An ocean overflowing with dilemma,
And million regrets, leaving a scar.
A blur and distorted image of life
And nights which seem longer than a lifetime.

A flowing river of dreadful thoughts,
An endless string of things I sought, but never got.
A cacophony piercing painfully through my ears,
And a bleeding heart, shedding a million tears.

This is my world and this is my being.
I’m groping in the dark with nowhere to lean.
I am tired of finding reasons and fighting obstacles.
I am just standing amidst the crowd, praying for a miracle.

This is great, Anwesha! Your diction is simply wonderful here! My favorite lines are these:

"A flowing river of dreadful thoughts,
An endless string of things I sought, but never got.
A cacophony piercing painfully through my ears,
And a bleeding heart, shedding a million tears."

Keep it up!

I really enjoyed reading this poem. It has a very nice flow to it and rolls off the tongue. You use very nice sensory details and I can feel emotion evoking from the piece. Great job, keep it up, and write on! :D

Such a sweet, melodic poetry. The words flow elegantly and beautifully. I love the way you have used metaphors throughout. You seem to put a lot of emotion within your piece. It feels personal the way you wrote it. Is it personal to you? If so, then you seem to know a lot. I know that seemed of random of me to say, and too simple, but I cannot really have other to describe it. You are a great poet, and it shows. All your poems are pretty much like this, including the epic Need You, but this is your best. Keep it up.

In the past I would definitely say who you would find inside. Not so much today. Place is bonkers …. As is everywhere
