Living in my past

Everybody’s moving forward
I’m stuck here
Left behind
Don’t know where to go
I’m lost
I’m breathless
I lost my sense to direction

Chorus:
I’m living in my past
Don’t want to leave it all behind
I always thought you got my back
But now you’re gone
Nowhere to be found
You left me hanging on my own
Oh why did you have to end your life
So soon?

I’m sitting here crying
Looking at our pictures posted on the wall
I see you smiling
Though I should have known
You were hurting inside
I still can’t accept
The fact that you’re gone.

Repeat chorus

What happened to all the promises we made?
What happened to sticking with each other?
I could have helped you through,
And you would still have been here
But it’s too late now
I can’t bring you back..

* If you would have made maybe a couple words rhyme it would feel like a song, songs have rhyming words and i know i sound childish but its true. All the hits rhyme.

* In the beginning you talk about being left alone, lost, and what not but then you come in to this whole "your dead" vibe. You dont want to change what your trying to say in the piece if its about being alone then keep it flowing, if its about someone taking their life make that clear throughout the thing (beginning too)

* Punctuation is different in everyones eyes (trust me) I feel when your trying to make a point you use exclamation marks, in this piece the most i saw was the basics. Apostrophes and periods but you forgot the main tool in singing commas. It really helps!
