Susan layed hopeless on Mike's bedside, trying to keep from crying,

suddenly a voice emerged and she lifted her head to see Mike with

his eyes slowly trying to open.

"Mike is that you?" Susan asked hopeful

He slowly opened his mouth

"Yeah it's me" he said softly

Susan smiled, the man she thought she would never talk to again

finally gave her hope again.

She stroked his cheek

"im so happy you are back" Susan stated

he tried to smile but he couldn't it was hard

for him to move at all

"sorry, i know it must have been really hard for you to see me like this"

Susan looked at him in his eyes and replied

"You'll never know how hard" kissing him softly

She slowly had memories flash in her head of what it was like to have

him in her arms, and how this made her feel that he was back in the

place she hoped he would never leave.

"I hope you haven't been waiting long" Mike said to Susan

Susan, smiled and let out a small chuckle

"well, 6 months i must say, but it was worth it"

Mike looked at Susan suprised

"6 months, wow!"

"yeah, 6 long horrifing months, and so many times i kept hearing

that you'd never wake up, but you and i both proved them wrong"

He took her hand into his

"i guess we did"

He smiled and kissed her again

A docter came in to see Mike&Susan talking

"well hello Mr.Delfino, it's good you are finally up"

They all smiled, and Mike looked at the docter

"well i didn't want to lose my Susan"

he said squezzing her hand softly

"I understand, but do you remember anything?"

Mike looked at the docter again and looked back down at Susan's hand

"Yeah, i was on my way to actually have a romantic evening with Susan,

i was going to propose to her, and i had to run a last minute arrand to the

flower shop and then a looked both ways before i stepped out onto the road

and then i heard like a car engine and before i had time to react and i turned to

face the car and i went right over the car and landed on the ground that's all i

can remeber"

Susan looked away trying to keep from crying from Mike's heartbreaking story

"well, thanks. We are going to need to keep you for about another 2 weeks and then

when you are progressing you may leave, but also we need to help you with walking

you might have broken some bones so we might have to do surgery, is that okay?"

"Anything, that can get me back to the way i used to be will be fine"

The docter nodded and left the room

"Im sorry you had to hear that story"mike told susan

Susan looked at Mike

"it's okay."

Kissing him softly again
