What I dream love is

PreviousNext

A small kiss on a beach,

A tender hug on a bad day.

Seeing his short hair blow in the wind,

His quirky smile makes me laugh.

A look across the room,

His eyes reveal mischief.

My tears against his shoulder.

His hand in mine.

Such a sweet love.

We talk for hours,

About what it would be without eachother.

Ending with a hug and lots of kleenex.

True love.

Never stops.

A love that gets through anything.

True love.

Never stops.

I love this poem cause this is how I imagine love to be in my mind. This poem had me smiling the whole time I read this.
The poem is nearly perfect there are some minor errors though I didn't notice them at first and they can stay cause they aren't that noticeable.
After reading this twice, I began to understand that you have a very good love in your life and you need to keep him there.
I believe that you could do a better poem if you really put your heart into it and gave it your all.

I actually don't have a guy, but if it was describing one, i would keep him!

Awe I am sad cause that would be your dream guy though I hope my girl thinks of me like that.

Hello! I would like to start off by saying that this poem is very lovely. During my first read through I couldn't help but smile from the great feeling of nostalgia this poem has given me :). However, like every poem there are things that should be fixed.

First off, I recommend combining the two lines "True love. Never stops". For one, those two lines aren't complete sentences and it would also just seem more impactful.

Also, I really enjoy the line "A love that gets through anything" you could keep it as that and it would be great but you could also change it to "love gets through anything" for more impact as well.

All in all, a really lovely poem, I can relate being a dreamer far away from love <3.

Keep contributing to the writers world :)
