I tend to talk too much
About everything and nothing
It doesn't matter if you don't answer
I'll go on anyway
You don't even need to listen
I'll just keep talking to myself
Because sometimes my words make you laugh
I tend to stare
Even if things and people are plain
It doesn't matter if you glare
Or tell me to stop
The world is fascinating
And I don't want to miss a thing
Especially not you
I tend to remember silly things
But math is soon forgotten
I still remember your smile
From that day when I gave you a drawing
We were just five
But you still keep it in a drawer
Because it's the silly memories that makes life great
I tend to forgive quickly
If I care enough to get angry at all
Take my anger as a compliment
It means that you are important to me
You're even important enough to be forgiven
I will not let our friendship die
And neither will you
I tend to sing in the shower
And whistle when I'm cooking
When I'm bored I tap my foot against the floor
I slurp when I'm drinking something warm
I have no sense of tact
But you don't mind
Because that's who I am

I love the way you tell a story through the poem which we can relate to and feel. I personnally think it's the purpose of poetry and writings in general.
The rhythm works for me , it could be prose poetry . I don't know if it is what you intended to do , but I feel it that way.
Keep up the good work anyway you are surely talented .
The poem is really amazing but the thing which is most important while writing a poem is what's missing. Rhythm. When someone reads a poem it should go in a flow, that's what people want. So here's a tip, after you finish writing the poem just read it once and see if you feel it rhyming or can you sing it and usually poems with four lines in each stanza are more preferable.
Also one more tip, weather you are writing a song or a poem there is one thing in common, your feelings that you write in it should be specific and all along it should be the same. In this poem it felt like you were talking about yourself somewhere and somewhere about your girlfriend or a person you love (pardon me if it was someone else) which made it a little confusing. you should take a specific feeling or emotion and go in it's direction in the whole poem because that' what makes it more understanding and fun.
In-spite these facts I really enjoyed reading your poem and I loved the following lines though the Rhythm wasn't appropriate the lines had a great meaning which was easily understood.
"I tend to talk too much
About everything and nothing
It doesn't matter if you don't answer
I'll go on anyway"
hope this helped and keep on the good work.
I love this poem. I love the content. I love it.
But you have to work on your rhythm.
Rhythm is a musical quality produced by the repetition of stressed and unstressed syllables. Rhythm occurs in all forms of language, both written and spoken, but is particularly important in poetry.
The most obvious king of rhythm is the regular repetition of stressed and unstessed syllables found in some poetry.
Writers also create rhythm by repeating words and phrases or even by repeating whole lines and sentences.
People often use a combination of two words to describe regular rhythm or meter. For example, you might refer to the meter of a sonnet as iambic pentameter The first word, such as iambic, refers to the beat pattern, in this case an unaccented syllable followed by an accented syllable (the most common in English). The second refers to the length of the line. In the case of pentameter we mean five feet (or ten syllables, long.
You have to know the rules before you can break them. You know?
Keep at it. I love the content.
I don't even wanna criticize. This is fantastic! Trust me I don't mind your mistakes (if any)! I didn't notice any. I'm amazed how poetry can have a great effect on the reader even when it doesn't rhyme. It's poems like these that keep reminding me that poetry doesn't have to rhyme.
What a carelessly beautiful poem!
Well, you have a nice poem in there. Each of the words in this poem holds a deeper meaning. Even though it is all simple it is beautiful. It has a smooth flow and so much lucidity! I simply love it. Um, although you might want to add a few stuff like punctuations, and make those fonts a bit small as this is a short and a cute poem but when the letters are too large it becomes a bit annoying to scroll and read
Anyways i love this poem I do. That is all I got to say so keep writing!
Thank you!
I've changed the fonts like a thousand times but it never looks right.. I'll give it one more try.
