The Undead Cat

Just a poem I wrote for a poetry reading wrote in like five minutes.

Schroedinger place his cat in a box.
He as well placed a vial of poison inside the box.
The cat sat waiting for it's soon or maybe distant doom.
No scientist would open the box and none would see.
While within the box the cat was alive, but the cat was dead, it was a live and dead.
Undead?
I wonder what they named the cat?
Their experiment was Called Schroedinger's cat.
Was the cat's name Schroedinger?
If so it's depressing.
I wonder if Schroedinger considered committing suicide?
I mean if he named the cat Schroedinger than maybe...
I wonder if they named the cat?

This isn't a review, but a flaw I saw in the experiment. Th cat obviously knows whether it is alive or dead. It measures the position/ state of decay(whatever, it's been a while since I looked at it)of the thing by being alive in the box.

Okay. Poem does sound like you put it together in five minutes, maybe less. Halfway through I started questioning if this was a poem...
The way it is formatted it nice, I will give you that :)
But then the sentences do not flow, are confusing at times, and then it ceases to be a real poem.

Schroedinger place his cat in a box.
He as well placed a vial of poison inside the box. First two lines could be put into one sentence so the idea is not redundant.
The cat sat waiting for it's soon or maybe distant doom.
No scientist would open the box and none would see. Okay, this line just sounds random.
While within the box the cat was alive, but the cat was dead, it was a live and dead.
Undead? slow down, this is where it starts to get confusing. You may know what you are talking about, but you need to be able to convey your view to the reader in an understandable manner
I wonder what they named the cat? Now we jump to naming?
Their experiment was Called Schroedinger's cat.
Was the cat's name Schroedinger?
If so it's depressing. Why> Put a spoiler or note to tell the reader who this person is in case they don't know
I wonder if Schroedinger considered committing suicide?
I mean if he named the cat Schroedinger than maybe...
I wonder if they named the cat? This last line should be deleted period if not removed. It is not a good ending.

Sorry if I sounded harsh, for that is not my intention at all. But you should try to really work on a piece for more than like five minutes before submitting.

But don't give up on it, try to make it better :)

I didn't really like this poem, seeing as it seemed less like a poem to me, and more of a rant. If maybe it rhymed, or flowed smoother from the tongue than it would seem more poetic. Keep trying, but this poem, in my respectful opinion, isn't great.

Schroedinger place his cat in a box. I like the way you have realated this poem to Shroedinger's cat - the thought experiment thatr presents a cat that might be alive or dead, depending on an earlier random event. In the course of developing this experiment, he coined the term Verschränkung
He as well placed a vial of poison inside the box.
The cat sat waiting for it's soon or maybe distant doom. This seems forced, maybe describe its' certain doom rather than considering how soon it will occur.
No scientist would open the box and none would see.
While within the box the cat was alive, but the cat was dead, it was alive and dead. Try to avoid repetition here, I understand that it makes the syllable count correct but try to make each line add something to the poem.
Undead?
I wonder what they named the cat?
Their experiment was Called CSchroedinger's cat.
Was that the cat's namequestion mark
I wonder if Schroedinger considered commiting suicide? I don't understand how this has any relevance?
I wonder if they named the cat?

Overall I thought this was really interesting and unlike anything I've read recently. Aside from a few gramatical errors (which happen to the best of us) good job!
