Happy Review Day! I'm reviewing a preview (which kind of rhymes). :D

This sounds so amazing, and rightly so - your description really does this story justice! People need to hire you to write blurbs for them!!! This reminds me fondly of the Nancy Drew mystery game Secrets Can Kill, but this sounds so much more complex. :)

The only thing I'd suggest is that novel names (as opposed to chapter or short story names) are traditionally supposed to be italicized and not placed within quotes. Otherwise, this preview really draws me into the plot and I can't wait to read this in October!

I like how you draw us in. Nice job . You had enough to make us interested, and not too much to make us bored. You have mastered the technique of summaries. I find it a little to "read this now" for my taste. I like things that don't force you to read them. Like in the last line, "this is a story you don't want to miss" it is putting it upon you to read the story. Maybe try this, "to find out, read ..." though still a bit lecturey, it isn't as much. Other wise, you captivated me! Nice job!

If I saw a book with this blurb in the bookshop, I would probably seriously consider buying it. You've managed to really hook the reader in by giving the right amount of information in the blurb - enough to be suspenseful, but not so much you give everything away.

Grammar point -

Now its up to Ivy to solve the puzzle
This should be 'it's' because you're saying 'it is'.
I don't know how I feel about 'misleading signboards'. I don't know, it's just seems like a weird way of saying that Ivy will be misled.
Will Detective Ivy make her way through the twisted labyrinth of Mitchell Dawson?
I think this another weird way of putting it. Maybe you'd be better saying 'the labyrinth that was the life of Mitchell Dawson' or something to that description. The original sentence doesn't quite sit right.
Including orphaned twins separated at birth, false identities, and the sudden murder of a foster mother, this is a story you don't want to miss.
I wouldn't use 'including', personally, because it makes the sentence seem less enticing. Maybe if you said From ... to... it might make the sentence a bit more exciting.
I don't know if you wanted a review of this, but it seems like you've got a good idea, and I'll be interested to see how you pull it off. :-)

Hey TriSARAHtops!

Thanks so much for saying that you'll read it... It means a lot to me. :)

I am so embarrassed about the first grammatical error! I should have proof-read it before I published. Oops! :P And yeah, thanks for the review anyways! I'll keep your advice in mind next time!

Remember October! ;)
