Chapter 3
Kajios
“Secrett are you ready?” Secrett pulled up her jeans and slipped into her converse sneakers.
“Yeah, coming.” Secrett opened the door. Her friend Athia stood in the doorway. Her hair was in pigtails and she wore an outfit where nothing matched.
“Please don’t embarrass me,” Secrett said closing her eyes.
“Don’t worry. Besides it will be dark in there no one will see us.” Athia said yanking Secrett’s arm so that she followed her.
“Where are we going anyway?” Secrett asked as they walked out of the apartment building.
“To a rock concert,” Secrett cast a long look at Athia as they headed for the tram. As they boarded Athia looked back at Secrett, her brown eyes gleaming.
“What, you’ve never been to one have you?”
“I’ve been to a handful.” Athia put her hands on her hips and then sat down looking at Secrett skeptically.
“Name one,”
“I can’t,”
“See!” Secrett looked out the window as the tram started ahead. It was already dark out.
“Who’s playing?” Secrett asked.
“Kajios,”
“Is that really his name or is that the band,”
“It’s his name, but he has a backup band too. I heard he was going to do a solo tonight, just with his guitar. He’s a total hottie.” Athia said bouncing up and down in her seat. A few people looked over at them.
“Athia remember that thing where I told you not to be embarrassing…”
“Sorry Secrett. Oh and get this, I have a cousin who knows him, and I think we’ll be able to meet Kajios.” Athia was such a vivacious girl that Secrett never realized how much they were different in personality.
“So is he good?” Secrett asked. The neon lights of the concert stadium let up the dull interior of the tram.
“Yeah, but does it matter. He’s so sexy, plus he’s a Rashian,” Athia took out a magazine and thumbed through the pages.
“What are you doing?” Athia shoved a picture of a young man. His chest was bare and he wore long jeans. Strapped around his broad shoulders was a guitar. Secrett raised her eyebrows.
“Well he’s actually pretty charming,” Secrett said taking the magazine.
“Oh and read this article here,” Secrett read the paragraph quickly, not missing a single word. It was mostly about a controversy over Kajios having powers.
“Isn’t that cool!”
“Why would you care you don’t have any powers,” Secrett said shoving the magazine back into Athia’s lap. The tram stopped and half of the people filed out including Secrett and Athia.
“Lighten up Secrett, we’re gonna have fun,” Athia said taking out some purple lipstick and putting it on.
~
They entered the stadium by being pushed in through the large doors with the rest of the screaming fans.
“I bet you people die here!” Secrett said clutching Athia’s arm as they rushed to the front of the stage.
“Stop thinking so morbidly and have fun Secrett,” Athia screamed over the loud crowd people piling up behind them. The stadium didn’t have a roof to it so you could see the star speckled sky, but as for the rest of the stadium it was dark.
It was quiet for a split second and then a bunch of screaming fans broke it. Athia had already joined in.
“Look,” Athia said turning Secrett’s head to the front of the stage where the young man who she had seen in the magazine stood. One light turned on as soon as the drums started. Pretty soon Secrett was the only one not jumping. Even the drummer seemed to be bouncing in his seat, trying to keep the jive.
“Come on Secrett live a little!” Athia said taking Secrett’s hands and continued jumping. She then started punching her fist in the air. Secrett looked up on stage. For a split second she felt as though her other half of her heart was there. Kajios’s dark brooding brown eyes met her emerald green ones. He started coming forward and reached out his hand. Before Secrett could grab it a bunch of other girls rushed forward and he pulled back to the center of the stage.
~
“Wasn’t that amazing. He only does this every so often and it’s usually on a Wednesday night.” Athia was saying on their way home on the tram. “And don’t think I didn’t see him looking at you. Did you have fun?” Secrett opened her eyes. She was trying to tone out her headache.
“I guess. I mean how does he handle all the ass grabbing when all he wants to do is give you a high five?” Athia smirked and they began laughing.
“Well listen up. I just called my cousin on my phone. He said that if we head over to his place we can meet Kajios,”
“Your nuts. He’s going to think you’re a stalker.” Athia slapped Secrett lightly on the arm.
~
As soon as the tram got to their stop Athia and Secrett ran to her cousin’s house. It was raining so by the time they got there they were completely soaked through.
“What’s wrong?” Athia asked sighing. She opened her cousin’s apartment door
“I have a feeling Kajios is going to be another one of those guys who are complete band jerks…that’s all.” They walked into the living room where Athia’s cousin and Kajios sat with a bunch of other people.
“Mo, you jerk. I thought we were the only ones going to be here.”
“Sorry Athia, but it was a great way to get some extra money.”
“Loser. Come on Secrett.” Athia said leading Secrett to the kitchen, Kajios and Mo coming in after them.
“Athia, if you’re really that upset about it then why don’t you just ask him out yourself.” Athia blushed.
“So obviously this is your cousin Athia, who’s her friend?” Kajios asked, trying to change the subject.
“Uh I don’t know. She’s got so many I’ll leave you guys alone.” As soon as Mo left it was quiet and uncomfortable.
“I’m Secrett,” Secrett said offering her hand. Kajios grasped it firmly, smiling.
“Hey, didn’t I see you at the concert?” Secrett’s eyes widened and she smiled.
“I don’t know. Did you?” Athia smiled.
“Hey this was my last concert. What did you think of it?”
“It was amazing,” Athia said staring into Kajios’s eyes. Secrett’s phone began ringing. “Are you serious Secrett. That’s, like, the hundredth time your mom called you for your help.”
“I’m sorry I have to take it,” Secrett smiled sheepishly at Kajios and walked over to the corner while Athia continued to flirt with him.
“Hello?” Secrett said into the other end.
“It’s Crystal. I got you another partner. Her name’s-”
“Crystal can we talk about this another time,”
“Excuse me?”
“Sorry,”
“Thunder I need you tomorrow. Some Rashians have been under attack by more of the Wickeds. Your new partner Stevie Wright, Leith Sparrow and you will need to take down the Wicked and save the ally troops got it?”
“Yes,”
“Another thing…where the hell are you?”
“I’m with Athia-”
“Again?”
“Yes again. I’m at a party,”
“Just don’t drink too much, bye.” Secrett slammed her phone shut and raised it to throw it before putting it back in her jean pocket. Kajios and Athia looked at her worriedly.
“What?” Secrett hissed, rejoining them.
“What did your mom want?” Athia asked.
“I’ve got to leave tomorrow. She needs help.”
“No wonder you don’t know how to live, you’re mom doesn’t give you a chance.” Kajios looked up.
“What does she need help with?”
“You don’t need to help me,” Secrett said walking out of the kitchen.
“Wait where are you going. I thought you had to go tomorrow,” Athia said stepping after her.
“I need to go home. It’s getting late.”
“It’s only ten o’clock,” Athia said, but Secrett was already gone.
Chapter 4
Royalties
Secrett walked in through the double doors, slamming them both open and letting them bang shut again. Her partner Leith Sparrow right behind her.
“This girl better be good,” Secrett said walking down the long flight of stairs to the garage.
“Well if she’s anything like Crystal said she is then she’ll be fine,”
Secrett and Leith were strapping on the last of their leather suit armor when they reached the ground floor, the garage. It held the Craccian’s weapons and vehicles. Suddenly there was phone ringing. Leith Sparrow and Secrett checked their pockets and then Secrett flipped her phone open.
“Hey Secrett. Oh my God you’ll never guess who asked me out!”
“Let me guess-”
“Kajios!” Secrett had to hold her phone away from her ear.
“That’s great Athia. I need to go now though. Maybe we can hang out tomorrow,”
“Sure whatever,” Athia said hanging up. Secrett shoved her phone back into her boot and look up. A young woman with long strawberry blond hair pulled loosely to the side in a ponytail and crystal blue eyes stood in front of her. She wore a princess gown with a crown on her head and pigtails.
“Are you serious,” Secrett breathed. “I can barely take care of myself and Crystal thinks I think take care of a princess,” the woman frowned.
“I’ll have you know that is very stereotypical. I can take care of myself.”
“Prove it,” the woman held up her hand and purple shot out of her hand it swirled around and turned into a tornado, picking up everything in its path.
“Alright,” Leith Sparrow yelled. “Put everything back.”
The woman made the twister go in reverse, placing everything back in its exact place.
“Nice job, but what if you’re in a power tank. They take away all of your powers. What will you do then,” the woman kicked Leith Sparrow down in one swipe of her leg.
“I’m sorry for doubting you Wright,” the woman nodded. “There is a warrior suit in the closet over there. Go ahead and get into those and we’re off on a mission.” The woman nodded and rushed off to change. Leith Sparrow slowly got up.
~
“Everyone strapped in?” Leith Sparrow asked getting onto his own motorcycle.
“How do you work this thing?” Stevie asked looking at the dozens of control sets. Secrett rolled her eyes.
“Press the green button with the palm of your hand,” she said as she did it to her own. Stevie slapped her hand on the button and the engine came to life. All three of the motorcycles zoomed out of the garage to their destination.
Secrett looked back at Stevie a few times before speeding ahead of Leith Sparrow.
“Thunder slow down girl,” Leith Sparrow hollered after her.
“I’m sorry, but you two will have to speed up to do that,” Secrett yelled back. Stevie sighed and tried speeding up, but she didn’t know how. Leith Sparrow jinxed the bike so that she didn’t need to drive and they quickly caught up to Secrett.

Wow, it's hard trying to sound tough. You have a nice writing style, just quit stalling! I want some idea of what's going to happen.
Okey dokey, that's all I have for now. Hope I wasn't too harsh.
There are so many things you need to explain, what is this "warrior" stuff? Super powers, neat addition, but what era is this? To me it seems futuristic.
Oh yeah, I think you need more description. Like what does each room look, smell, and feel like?
You have a really cool idea going on here. I think you should throw in some more action, it would go very well with the idea.
Keep writing, please!
