Father I praise you holy name
You are worth to be praise
Also I hope you keep me
Alive every day
Because I hope to be alive every day
I just want to be a part
Of you life
Every morning I wake up
With the winter blues
Can you please Father
Remove the winter blues from my life
Also father don't think I am a liar
Because that is not me Father
I hope you know me by now
I am always telling you the truth

Hi! I'm Kate and I'm here to leave a quick review!!
Anyway let's get right to: Kate's Line by Line Reactions;
This is quite the powerful little poem here. It seems to be innocuous on first glance a simple plea to one's father but it is quite clear that father here is referring to God and this is almost something of a prayer through the format of a poem and it really enriches the poem with a whole new meaning here.
It seems like a simple plea again but I find it quite a powerful read regardless, really diving into that feeling of being alive and the thankfulness at the life that has been given. Its a powerful message especially when combined with the message of how the narrator of the poem here is wishing for God to always be a part of their life, to continue this enrichment that is provided to them and to continue giving them a good life although towards the end we see more of plea there.
A wish is being expressed for the problems that come with winter to be lessened with the narrator there saying that their honesty is cause to answer their prayer and to grant them this wish that they humbly ask for. All in all, just a very powerful piece here, really shows how much faith the narrator of the poem has here.
Aaand that's it for this oneee!!!
As always remember to: Take what you think was helpful and forget the rest!

hello 5670!
firstly, i love the repetition you keep throughout the poem. it creates this sense of trying to explain something to someone, telling them that you are something beautiful and worth living.
i notice you refer to Father as a holy name- are you referring to God? if so, this creates a different sense of meaning. it's really beautiful how you describe this connection with your faith.
a few nitpicks; "i praise you holy name" should be "i praise your holy name", same with "of you life".
you do a really good job explaining your connection with god, and it's such an interesting experience.

It is really a nice poem. The depth of your faith in God is inspiring and a testament to the power of spiritual commitment.
To the great almighty for giving wonderful lives.
God is the one who made us
In his image
And we are God's children
We also need to pray
For God every night
