Liked it - good references, RLS and Spinoza fit well with what you're trying to say, I think. Excellent use of shifting perpective, so we have trouble telling where 'you' start and 'Brad' leaves off, not surprisingly; last line is a class-A finish.

I'm likin' indeed: perhaps, my only comment is, some people will find it inaccessable because of its tone. That's not really a criticism; just a warning.

wow. Would it be safe to say that you seem to have a form of dissociative identity disorder? no really this was really good. It make zero sense to me...maybe I just didn't analyze it long enough or maybe you're leaving it open to interpretation...
