What is Technology? When you hear the word technology what comes first to your mind? Technology is a way that makes our life easier and helps us to do things that will make us comfortable and easier. One example is when I use to research a topic for my thesis and I use the internet more often for some references for my thesis. And because of this modernized internet we can access more easily and faster than looking for textbooks. If matter is everywhere, technology is everywhere too, because everything that we see and touch is a product of technology. And these products can help us or we use to something that we are doing or the things that we use to do. Technology is very useful for us especially for the students and teachers because of new things they are learning. This technological advances might affect the world, lifestyle and transportation.

According to Gupta(2010). “Technology, when misused, poison air, soil, water and lives. But a world without technology would be prey to something worse: the impersonal ruthlessness of the natural order, in which the health of a species depends on relentless sacrifice of the weak. “These technologies can affect the people, community and our world. And these effects may be positive effect or negative because it depends on how we use these technologies. We have the power to control and manage these technologies to use in the good of other people. And we should know the consequences that might happen when we use this in bad things.

Since the beginning of the 21 century, our society has witness a great increase in technological growth, and this has affected lifestyle in various ways. For example, technology changed the way schools educate their students through the use of computer in classrooms and the emergency of online education (How Does Technology Effects our Lifestyle, par 1). Lifestyle is the way, a person lives. To design our lifestyle in a more trendy way and augment our comfort level along with efficiency is the role of technology. Though the technology sources have been easing our daily conducts from the time of immemorial, they have more or less entered into our souls in the recent times. Beginning from the electricity, transportation, communication to the mobile phones, microwaves etc. all have added to our comforts and performance. And through these technologies life can be change into better ones.

All transportations depends on technology, whether it’s the wheel, the jet engine, or the computer ship. According to Kimiracle(2008) transportation is not just technology; it’s a system of technology, people, energy, money and more. However, advances in technology play a key role in shaping transportation systems, which in turn help to shape our lives, landscapes, and culture. Because transportation is so important to commerce, and literally and figuratively, it is so much depended on it, it has been the focus of an enormous amount of inventive activity. And this advance technology on transportation is very efficient to people that need to go to other far places even in other country. It’s the use of planes, ships or even cars that will help us to go somewhere in a short period of time.

Technology has always been a gift to our lives. We just use it well. If we can do things faster and better, then it must be a gift from the gods, right? But, as always, we must not too dependent on technology, because if ever these gifts we cannot, we must always try to help ourselves to live.

According to Hurley(2012), technology helps us if we want to go different places. Nowadays, it is not uncommon to see cars on the road. In addition, there are new trains powered by electricity, which can travel long distances in a short period of time. Several technological advances have always tried the minds of men. But one thing is for sure, technology has always been there helps us in our everyday situations. Just think of how you could get food to stay fresh without a fridge. In fact, technology has given us the power to support our rapidly growing needs in order to survive.
