The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. (I think I spelled that correctly. xD)
It's a bit hard to follow, but I still love it. I adored the musical, so I figured I'd try the book.

Gee, I hated the book Phantom of the Opera. I think Andrew Lloyd Webber was a genius for cultivating such a great musical out of that..... thing.
It wasn't bad in the conventional sort of bad way; but it felt so dry, and the Phantom had less than no depth, in my opinion. Maybe I was just tainted by the movie.
Ah, well. Hope you enjoy.

Atom by Steve Aylett. . . for what I do believe must now be the 15th time.

Must read for all psychos and soon to be psychos out there. And once you've read it, read it again. . . and then again and then a few more times, and then pass it on to everyone you know because this is the kind of madness one cannot keep to themselves.

XD It is rather dry, but I'm not very far into it and I'd like to see how the plot of the novel compares with the plot of the movie. Book Christine is starting to get on my nerves, though. She's acting sort of bi-polar. XD

Cyrano De Bergerac by Edmond Rostand. 'Tis so heartbreakingly lovely.

EDIT: Also now reading The New York Trilogy by Paul Auster. Weird (really weird) yet strangely addictive stuff.
I am reminded of the babe by you.

East of Eden by John Steinbeck. It's been a while since I read it, and I forgot how amazing his writing is! His descriptions of everything are just all so gut-wrenching. I'm in awe of it.

I'm reading "Fragile Eternity" by Melissa Marr... it's a pretty good series so far.
